Nice but way over-priced

Clean, beautiful, safe hotel in a great neighborhood, walking distance to many restaurants. A fantastic breakfast bar.

Staff was mixed... some were kind and helpful, others not so much. The hotel is grossly overpriced... as in, Southern CA pricing. Apparently there are enough business and tourist travelers passing through for just one night to embolden the hotel to take undo advantage of them, as they did with us. Our overall group costs were 250% over budget for this trip.

Great location but not a quality room. No refrigerator is a deal breaker because I have meds that need to stay cold.

The location is central to a lot of places to eat and shop.

The rooms are very basic. No refrigerator or microwave. Bed are ok but not the best.

Good option in Villahermosa, but different standard of Marriot compared to Europe

Good breakfast and comfortable beds. Easy communication with hotel staff that were very helpfull.

No fridge in our hotel room.

Nice Marriott with great staff and breakfast!

We stayed twice at this Marriott during our Day of the Dead trip. Very nice hotel with friendly staff and good, included buffet breakfast if you book with a special deal. Across the street from the fun Outdoor Food Truck Court for dinner; great for rubbing elbows with all the locals. Nice pool and close to parks. Easy to get a cab to go marvel at the Olmec heads and Anthropological museum.

Good for travellers for one night. Good wi fi. Parking at the hotel territory. Good smelling shampoo&others.

It was no hair dryer in the bath:( poor breakfast full of tipical food, nothing international. No vegetables at all. Old linens, old furniture.

Very comfortable and incredibly clean

The room was exceptionally clean, and was spacious with good air conditioning, sufficient towels and a powerful shower. The beds were extremely comfortable, A staff member brought us a fresh cleaned coffee maker for the morning - an incredible detail because in many hotels they are filthy - so it was wonderful to have sanitised and super clean coffee maker. This was an indication of the level of attention and care taken by the hotel and its staff. The hotel is close to a mall with many restaurant options and also has room service and a mini store which is great. Breakfast was included but we ate only fruit so can't say how it was otherwise. The breakfast service was good.

The room service menu QR code wasn't working and after waiting nearly 30 minutes (they said 5-10) for this problem to be fixed, during which I did get a complementary lemonade but still no QR menu, I had to go down to the lobby where they gave me another QR code that gave a menu but with half the dishes missing. Finally, after more waiting (in the lobby), a waiter brought me an actual physical menu, which I assume they had been avoiding for sanitary measures. It would have been nice if they had just let me have the physical menu right away while the QR code wasn't working, even if it wasn't quite as sanitary. Not a big issue, but there was only one chair in the room which makes it a little awkward if there are two people eating room service dinner there. Also, the two bedside lights are very bright, right above the beds and close to each other. It's actually a little pointless to have the two lights since each light illuminates both beds, meaning that as long as one person wants a light on, the other person is somewhat inconvenienced if they want to sleep. It would be nice to have more controllable lighting by the beds.

Great hotel

Beautiful hotel, extremely clean and well located in Villahermosa's most desirable area. There's a great family-oriented park next to me hotel where you can go walking or exercising and there's a huge eatery right across the street, with all kinds of food.

Good

The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. My stay was adequate.

The customer service was below average. It took them more than 30 minutes to serve me my breakfast when I ordered in the morning in the restaurant. They also only provided us with a small 200 ml bottle of water even though we booked a king room and were two people. I just expected better for Marriott. There are better, cheaper places to stay in Villahermosa.
