We have been before (the previous year) so we knew what to expect.
Luxurious gardens next to a beautiful river and with the wonderful hills and rock tombs as a backdrop.
Really love the location and relaxation but youngsters may find the 10 min walk to the town a bit of a pain if they want some life each night.
Extremely quiet at night and very relaxed eating by the pool.
We would even go again but maybe will leave it a year or two before we do (never say never though).
The information as to what you get on booking.com is very much cut and paste.
You will really need to speak to the hotel directly to get exactly the room you want. We arrived and found that our requests (rooms together and pool side view) had been ignored as apparently we had not chosen the right option rooms.
The staff tried to help but they said that what we wanted was part of the other half of the hotel (the Spa resort) and was fully booked. Strange as we thought we had booked the same as last year (we got pool side rooms then in the Spa part of the hotel) and the hotel was half empty most of the time (we choose to go in September exactly for this reason and the temperature is wonderful at this time).

The pool was excellent - lovely & clean. Ali the pool guy was so helpful and friendly - a real asset to the hotel. There was a choice of two pools with one slightly smaller adults only pool which is a nice idea. Some of the staff were great but others appeared untrained & disorganised - the impression we got (which may not be correct) was that the hotel may have been recently taken over by a new team - if so then this should settle down. Our suite was very nice in size. Late checkout was available at a reasonable rate which was a godsend for a late flight home. Position of hotel very good if you like to be a little out of town.
Have stayed at this hotel before a few years ago & the previously lovely gardens are now looking quite shabby by comparison. They need a really good going over to restore them to their former glory. WiFi was absolutely terrible. You had to log on with a passport no, it constantly cut out & required you to re-input passwords. When connected it was very slow & simple things like accessing BBC news website were almost impossible. I wasn’t even able to access the hotel’s own website to look at the Spa Treatment list!! This is nothing to do with Turkish Telecoms - during the first part of our trip we stayed at the small family-run Sultan Palas Hotel in a remote location 3 km from Dalyan and the WiFi was first rate. Food was not as good as before - not much variety & very little fruit apart from melon at breakfast & dinner. No tea & coffee making in room (this WAS available when we stayed before). Did not like the hotel adding our room rates to the extras bill despite me having paid in advance. Luckily I had a printed copy of the booking.com confirmation of pre payment with me. It was then removed from the bill but there was no apology. Didn’t think that the owners dogs walking about the place & drinking out of the pool was acceptable. On last day music was playing around an otherwise peaceful pool area. There’s no need for this as most people have access to their personal music through headphones. Enforced music would put me off returning.
