The property is located a good distance to the beach, and also a driving distance to the mountains.
There are plenty of restaurants by the beach to enjoy
Clean, well maintained and quiet neighbourhood

spotlessly clean, really lovely and helpful staff
loved everything, though sun bathing area around the pool is quite limited, but the beautiful beach is just in front of the hotel, plenty of room there!!

Lovely, clean hotel in a great location. Lovely walk into the centre along the pinewalk. Very good value for money considering breakfast was included too.
Hotel reception was rarely manned and there was no bell to ring, therefore we had to wait a while before we could check in,

Great location, friendly helpful staff, very clean. I have stayed 3 times before

warm welcome lovely staff and pool area breakfast area and peaceful pretty location
as with many properties the room sound insulation could be better

The location was excellent, the fact that it is a
smaller Hotel is nice, it felt cozy without big
crowds of people and the manager & his
team of staff could not do enough for you &
are very friendly. It is lovely & clean, with
housekeeping every day. Breakfast whilst
no hot options is no problem at all, with
beautiful pastries, boiled eggs, continental
meats & cheese with lovely fresh rolls or toast.
Also fresh fruit, cereals etc.
There were 3 of us in a room, so we found it
quite small, I would definitely book a bigger
room next time with the larger balcony,
although there only appeared to be a couple of
these. One minor complaint is people leaving
their towels on sun loungers all day, despite
not using them for hours on end. This is rather
selfish as it is a small area with not many beds
available due to space. It wasn’t a major
problem for us as we went the beach but it
could cause problems for others.

great location at the quiet end of the beach and easy walk to centre
helpful staff
it was very noisy early in the morning. we were woken up at 6.30 every day when the people in the room next door got a shower, then heard people from 8am banging the doors going to breakfast. then you can hear the maids cleaning from 9am!

a nice easy going hotel, lovely staff and very clean. Frequent changes of sheets and towels. Continental breakfast with loads of choice.

Very clean and tidy, friendly, helpful staff. Good value for money.
The breakfast, whilst very reasonable, could be a little more extensive, with perhaps some hot food.

Perfect place to stay if searching for more calm area. We got room on upper floor with the best view we can imagine and big terrace (big thanks to the staff for room upgrade). Spacious and always clean room. Personnel were really nice. Easy parking on the street or other side of the hotel.

In overall, we had a short, but great stay at Villa Singala: The hotel is very nicely located - if you like to have a calm night of sleep :) - only a 15 minute walk away from the busy port area, with access to the beach in 1 minute and several hiking and biking routes starting nearby. The hotel even provided us with amazing maps/brochures for both hiking and biking, a very helpful guide to make the most of our stay.
The rooms are relatively spacious and super clean, the pool area as well, water pressure in the shower is great, hygiene measures are well respected, also at the breakfast buffet, we (2 ppl, not a couple) had booked a "twin bed room" which comprised a double bed plus one single bed, a balcony, and we even had a view of the ocean (the hotel's in 2nd row to the beach!).
A special shout-out to the staff, everyone was always super friendly and helpful, my friend who has a gluten intolerance was offered a whole bunch of gluten-free options for breakfast (¡Muchas gracias de nuevo!), also plenty of fresh fruit available and a nice terrace outside to sit and eat/have coffee in the shade.
The only thing that was a little bit tricky (just to keep in mind, but not really related to the hotel itself) was that because of the location close to the sea, the air is quite humid so nothing really dried overnight, unless you put it in the sun for a couple of hours the next day, and clothes as well as other things in our suitcases always felt a little damp.

Breakfast had a lot of options and we could eat outside. Staff was really good. Walking distance from a beach and restaurants.

We had a great time here. The staff were very friendly and helpful in meeting our needs. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony which we made quite a bit of use of so this was much appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good - it was great sitting on the patio. The other guests also seemed to be friendlier than many other hotels we have stayed at.
Nothing. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the centre of town but this means it is quieter which we liked. Some may not.
