Quiet, clean, Chalets

Location, quiet, great bed and shower. Hostess Jane very helpful and answered all questions promptly. Check-in easy, checkout easy. Great sunrises.

Tranquil, modern and comfortable. Very relaxing.

Fantastic, clean, modern, comfortable, tranquil little cottage. Washing machine and drying tunnel onsite was a very useful. Host was extremely helpful when we got delayed due to ferry problems. Nice and quite outside town....amazing start gazing spot.

Some basic cooking facilities ...ie a hob would be helpful.

This was a superb place to stay and we will stay again. Jane was lovely.

The location was absolutely beautiful. It was relaxing, peaceful and welcoming and immaculately clean. We enjoyed our conversations with Jane who was truly welcoming.

I would have preferred not to have had the disability bathroom. I am sure it would have been a great bathroom if we were disabled though.

Our stay was relaxing and most enjoyable. Our hosts were wonderful.

We arrived to a warm welcome from Jane and John plus their friendly dog Izzy. The chalet exceeded our expectations - it was spacious, very clean, immaculately presented and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. The grounds surrounding the chalets are beautiful. We will definitely book again. Highly recommended.

There was nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect.

The room itself was comfortable. Just would have liked better care of service and safety.

It was quiet and private

I did not like the ramp that was slippery and had mould on it. I slipped and fell down and hurt my arm and lower back quite badly and still require medical attention. As that happened at the beginning of a long holiday, it was a spoiler for me as I had to change some of my plans. There should not be any hazards when there is a ramp. I would have expected more care as an accommodation provider. We arrived to find one of the beds not made up and we were given beddings to do up the bed ourselves.

Jane & John were super lovely, the chalets were amazing with everything you need plus they were located in such stunning and peaceful gardens and were only a short drive to so many beautiful beaches and local spots! Thank you Jane, John & Izzy :)

the location was great as I had to travel to Takaka the following morning and it’s only an hour from the location. I also loved the quiet serenity

Lovely peaceful place. Lovely owners. Great shower and comfy bed. Short car trip to town or local beaches and Abel Tasman.

We’ll definitely return!

It was raining most of the time but we didn’t even mind. What a stunning location nestled away up the hillside. The accomodation was very clean, warm and comfortable. The bird life around the property was amazing too, can’t beat waking up to that every morning. We absolutely loved our stay here and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

Hosts were amazing, the chalet was spotless and had everything you could need to be self sufficient and comfortable. Beautiful gardens and stunning views out to the ocean.

One of our best stays in NZ

There are 3 well equiped chalets all with private views over the farms below onto the hills and beyond. Its only a 10 min drive to the boats that depart for Abel Tasmin NP. The hosts John & Jane and dog Izzy are super and willing to please.
