La bellezza del posto e la gentilezza

The location of the hotel is very central. One could park their car right outside of the premises at the hotel parking lot. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was small but super delicious. We really appreciated fresh fruit. The staff were friendly and helpful.
On the day of our stay the weather was 36 degrees (Celsius) outside. The hotel does not have an air conditioning system but a fan is present in the room. Ours was not particularly strong (possibly was malfunctioning), so it was extremely hot for us and the dog.

Perhaps better orientation signs in the city

Excellent breakfast.
Wine bar downstairs.
Atmospheric old winery, enjoyed staying somewhere a little unusual.
Very limited restaurants in the village for dinner.

room is big, good coffee and large garden.

The court yard offered a very relaxing and enjoyable evenings. The platter and home made wine was delicious.

Very nice and warm-hearted owner, very big apartment with clean
rooms.
Kitchen is simple with little dinner set and cooking equipment.

From the pictures we definitely expected a wine farm with fields around it etc.
In stead we, after looking hard, found an entrance door on the street in a village.
However the apartment is enormous, and the people running the place, actual wine producers of great wines, are really nice.
But beds are hard and there is no dining options there. You will have to seek to the village for dinner.
Breakfast is simple and €5 each but recommended as you will not find anything else nearby

very friendly welcome in a large apartment. courtesy fizz in the courtyard was a lovely surprise.

Comfortable & clean with a good breakfast. the room had everything we needed, the hosts were super friendly and helpful. there was a lovely backyard to sit and enjoy a drink before dinner. parking was safe and easy. many sights to see from here including castles.
the room was a bit warm and slightly dated. a/c or a fan would help.

Nice staff and I could store my bicycle easily. Also a good place to stay if you are biking towards Lago di Garda as it is close to the bike way.

The staff/owners of Agriturismo Salizzoni were very hospitable and have an excellent location. I was there for 5 days and they did everything to make my stay comfortable. Being a working winery they have an excellent selection of wines from their production. Their sparkling wine and the Marzemino's are all great choices.
The village of Calliano only has one ristorante/pizzeria, which is above average but not good enough to eat at multiple days. There are other restaurants within a short 5-10 min drive.
4.3
Friendly host, offered us coffee and breakfast beyond regular breakfast time.
Parking directly in front of property.
Good possible party or wedding location.
Not too luxurious room, but enough for a short trip.
Trains or church bells nearby, can be disturbing for light sleeper.

Maybe the breakfast
In the room it could easily listen a lot of noise caused by trains passing by and cars, almost all night and early in the morning. Sleep was not easy.
The photos of the property on Booking.com set an expectation that is very different from the reality.

Great location, very nice building and back yard.
Poor breakfast, extremely squeaky bed, host doesn’t speak English.
4.3
Very friendly and welcoming hosts, delicious wine upon arrival, excellent parking facilities, good breakfast, very nice garden, a beautiful castle in a vicinity. Overall, fantastic value for money.
The room was a little bit dark (facing the inner courtyard), and the place is a little noisy during the day because of the railroad and highway. But this is the price for a convenient location.
