Lovely outlook, beautiful pool, nice food in restaurant, great big bathroom with a view, friendly helpful staff
Rough road last mile or two and steep drive up which was a bit dicey with heavy rain, but fine for 4WD

The pool, but it does not have ANY HAND RAILS to enter the pool. The mosaic tile had little manteinance and many pieces were missing. The hotel heavily promotes the view and it IS stunningly beautiful
The room, the balcony, the bathroom...all had gorgeous views
The hotel lacks amenities, no means/pleasant path to reach the beach down the montain .... half a mile away
The rooms were just ok, an eco lodge with every towel made 100% polyester, terrible. We asked and the staff replaced them all with older, but 100% cottone towels. We also had
problems with the lock on the door. The toilet was difficult to flush

Beautiful place with nice view. The restaurant is good, too. The whole setup is great, but needs a "touch up" and bit of love.
No coffee machine in the room and staff not willing to provide a cup of coffee before 7am.

The Hotel is just beautiful and the staff is more than friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers a good choice and everything was delicious.
Thanks for a short but great stay!

This was our second stay at this property - each for one night. The pool overlooks the ocean and it is beautiful! Our room also had an amazing view from the balcony and bathroom. We loved the extra special touch of flowers throughout the room. The open air game and sitting area was the perfect place to relax and enjoy time with family. The breakfast was very good.
If it is busy, parking can be tight.

The hotel is in a beautiful location surrounded by jungle and howler monkeys with a beautiful view of the sea and islands. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also kid/family friendly. The breakfast was also excellent. Very close to the bioluminescence kayak tours and tortuga island tours.

Beautiful setting overlooking the ocean. The restaurant had very fresh, locally grown food. The room was an ample size and very comfortable. We would definitely return.

The view from pool has to be among best in all of Costa Rica; staff, especially at breakfast, were very kind. And … monkeys!
As is often case anywhere off beaten path in Costa Rica, hot water in shower was hit and miss, often miss,

Beautiful location, really didn't expect that view even though I had glanced at photos prior to booking, once you arrive, it really does take your breath away!
It was perfectly located close to the ferry since we were travelling back to San Jose the following day. It was the perfect last place to stay before ending our trip. The pool overlooks the stunning Playa Organos/Playa Gigante whilst also being in view of Tortuga Island. It was absolutely stunning.
The rooms were basic, but clean and provided everything we needed. We appreciated the balcony which also provided us with the similar view over the ocean.
Room was at the very bottom, so quite a walk back up with all our luggage ( keep that in mind ) but hey ho, exercise :D

The infinity pool with million dollar view over bay. Rooms are designed wonderfully with beautiful covered veranda of the room and a million dollar view over the ocean.
The food, breakfast and cocktails were of average quality. The last few km
to hotel are not paved, there is a steep hill and rough gravel road for the last km but the view is worth it.

The view from the hotel room and swimming pool is worth the price you pay.
Unfortunately the water was cold in the shower. The breakfast was good, but bit basic and boring. I would recommend to order a dinner - it was very good and testy. Staff was very kind and helpful.

beautiful location and sea view from almost all rooms. Clean nice pool. The on site restaurant is very valuable as it is not easy to go out to eat due to bad road and distance 10 min to town by taxi each time you want to eat something. the special value of the hotel location is enhanced by its approximation to two important tourist attractions: bioluminescence bay kayak and turtle island snorkels both are 10 min drive.
there are quite some stairs to rooms and it may be an issue for you if walking is an issue.

Super helpful to get there from the ferry. We had a very long journey, and the staff was always available to answer our questions. They even offered to cook late for us even though the kitchen was close. Really lovely experience although too short!

The pool and room had amazing views. The breakfast was also great
The road up to the hotel is pretty crazy and very difficult if you dont have a 4x4

The view was exceptional. Our room was private and it just was so tranquil. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Infinity pool was delightful as were the frequent games of pool my partner and I played in the great shared area. Wi-Fi great too.

Amazing location, a real gem of a place, with fabulous food and really lovely, hospitable staff.
The view and waking up to howler monkeys was something really special.
Shower could have been a bit hotter, but that is the only very minor issue.
The view from the shower more than made up for it.
