Good but some areas dated / overpriced

Apartment was clean and a nice touch of milk, orange juice, ham etc. on arrival. Nice walk to the beach and close to supermarket and bakery.

Knew swimming pool was dated from the recent reviews and it is true, areas surrounding the pool need replacing. La Gondola restaurant was pricey and if more reasonably priced would attract more custom. Overall grounds were key very clea. It could do with more than one apartment clean over 10 days stay.

Perfect accommodation- will go back again.

Everything worked- air con, washing machine, blow dryer…. Liked the little gesture with a loaf of bread, ham and cheese and orange juice in the fridge :)

Nice location with everything you need

the location is nice, beach is relatively close and it had everything you need

they could clean every 2-3 days because with kids and sand and wet towels is getting dirty fast. We gathered 4 bags of trash (mostly because of diapers) and they came to clean after 5 days. and when I asked to clean they said they will change just the towels.

lovely family vacation

we loved the Son Bou beach and the area itself. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable. Also our flight was late in the evening so the lovely reception staff told us they have shower and towels for us if we wanted to use after the check out and before our flight. this was super convenient. thank you.

best place to stay in Menorca

location is great - we used Son Bou as a basis to explore the rest of the island and after driving around I think this was the best place to stay. Very close to a really nice and long beach, good restaurants, several supermarkets, etc. facilities - they provide you with everything you need. mattresses are unbelievably comfortable, balcony is spacious, we were two and did yoga there every morning! it was also very clean. staff - everyone is really nice and the people working in the facilities restaurant are very attentive. the pizzas are so worth it by the way! I’m hoping to come back next year and will definitely stay here.

I can’t really find anything I didn’t like.

Great stay in Son Bou

Great apartment Great location Lovely beach Nice and quiet place Bed very comfortable Good water pressure Kitchen perfectly equipped Nice local bakery and shops Good base for doing walks on the cami de cavalls trail

We were lucky we didn't have neighbours for most of the stay but when some arrived its easy to lose your privacy. Don't want to pay for sun lounger at pool 5euros daily.

The supermercado's are extremely expensive. Worth taking a bus to Alaior and do the groceries there

We had a lovely holiday.

The property was clean and had very good facilities. It was very nicely finished. The beds were very comfortable and the air con was great. The grounds were immaculate. Menorca Vacations left us a lovely welcome package of tea, coffee, sugar, water, milk, orange juice, bread, ham and cheese. So thoughtful. The people at Menorca Vacations were very helpful, letting us store our luggage until we could check in and phoning as soon as the apartments were ready so we could check in early. They ordered us a return transfer to the airport when we asked and the communication was really good.

The second bedroom was very small. It is not really suitable for two adults. It had two single beds but is only really suitable for one adult or two small children. The three pools on the complex are separately and privately owned. There is a charge of three euros per sun bed at each one so you can’t really go from one pool to another in a day. Having said that, the pool nearest to the apartments was free for Menorca Vacation guests if a drink was bought. However during our stay this pool was very crowded so we mainly chose another.

had a great stay at Playa Gold. enjoyed the pool being super close, and the little playground for our kids.

clean, great location to pool, beach, supermarket. lovely to have balcony and perfect for us to be on the 1st floor with kids as we could leave the front door open and the kids in and out. staff were very friendly and helpful.

sofa not so comfy, and not enough good pans to use for cooking. also wish they provided more washing up liquid and bin bags.

Really calm location, and the appartment was equipped with everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable.

The cleaning was okeyish. Tables were kind of sticky and chairs were dusty when we arrived. But nothing extreme. The apartment was way older than it appeared in the photos, but still comfortable and in good state.

Relaxing week on the beach

Relaxed experience for a week on the beach. We were early in the season so it was relatively quiet. Everything you could need nearby: bakery, supermarket, restaurants, bars, shops. Lovely beach short walk away.

Great location, well equiped appartment

You can use the pool BUT if you want to use the sun bet you must pay 3€ to the waiter in the restaurant, you are not allowed to enter to the pool with your own drink - only use the bought ones in the restaurant.

An excellent place for the price near the best beach for kids

The location was perfect! Very quick and easy to get to the beach by car, just 5 minutes, which is essential with children!

The beds were uncomfortable and too hard, pillows were uncomfortable too, and there were no extra blankets - just the bottom and top sheets on the bed.

Excellent choice for a family trip to Menorca

Great location, apartment was super clean and with all kinds of equipments: kitchen, microwave, washer, AC, etc. Great service by the staff. Lots of shops and restaurants close by.

The only negative was the pool, it had some bird feces, in the water and around the pool as well.

Pretty good stay for the money you are spending.

Staff was pleasant on arrival. Early check in was possible with no extra costs.

Hated that the double bedroom had two mattresses making up for the double bed instead of having a king/queen mattress. Not suitable for couples at all
