Highly recommend for any solo traveler!

Centrally located, near restaurants and the main strip. Host is friendly and kept the place clean and tidy. Highly recommend!

Home Away from Home, With the Best Host!

Goldy Hostel is incredibly cozy and has everything you need for a perfect stay, plus the location couldn't be better! Zlatko is without a doubt the best host - not only does he know everything about Bitola, but he also ensures you feel comfortable and welcome from the moment you step in. Thank you so much for everything, I had a truly amazing stay and I hope to see you again someday! :)

The location is great, walking distance to a lot of things plus near a metro station. Private 2 bed dorm had its own shower and sink. There was free breakfast. There was a lift to avoid all the stairs which was also nice. Okay for the price but a few strange occurrences that'd put me off for next time.

Long story short the way the hostel was run was very strange and felt unaaccomodating. I was aware the hostel was cleaned everyday from 11am to 3pm and everyone must exit their rooms during this time (which is every unusual not something I've seen in any other hostel and was quite disruptive) but even though we had a private room they still needed us to leave the room to clean it at this time everyday which is something they should change. They also only issue one key for the room and you need to return it to the front desk everytime you leave. This doesn't make much sense for a private room let alone a shared dorm. We didn't have too much of an issue with it in the private room but I could imagine it's be a pain with the shared dorms if they use the same system for those.

Excellent location in centre of town, comfy beds with curtains, helpful staff who explains things to do when you check in. Good place to stay.

Dorm could have been cleaner and kitchen could have been cleaner.

Very good location, the hostel can be found directly in the city center; friendly, amazing and helpful host who provides with a lot of interesting and useful info :) There are lamps and sockets for each bed, and private curtains as well from every side. The bunk-bedded room where I stayed had a nice balkony.

Quaint hostel near the city centre

I only stayed here 1 night and got upgraded to a room with 1 bunk bed. This meant that my friend and I were alone in a room together which was great. Other than that the facilities were good, though it’s more of a converted apartment that a proper hostel building.

The staff were great and gave some useful tips for visiting the old town, which is a short walk from the hostel. The kitchen is very well equipped. I would definitely stay here again.

Good place to stay for a couple of nights in Bitola

Comfortable beds with curtains. Light and power point at bed. Balcony with good views. Kitchen with cooking equipment. Large shower and bathroom. Central location.

The shower doesn't give the warmest of showers. You have to turn it until the boiler clicks, but the water doesn't warm up enough. Table and drying rack could do with a clean and be emptied more regularly in the kitchen. The rubbish bin wasn't very clean and you had to touch it every time you wanted to put anything in it. You have to liaise with the manager when you go out in case he goes out or vice versa, as you don't get a key. But he is reachable via Whatsapp.

Zlatko from reception makes the place exceptional.

The hostel is small but has everything you need. I enjoyed the balcony a lot. Big thanks go to Zlatko from the reception who helped me to plan my hike in surroundings and organized me a transport to Pelister National park (which wasn't that easy in May). It's should be your choice nr. 1 in Bitola!

OK but not great

Clean, hot showers, nice common area and kitchen

Doesn't feel very welcoming. You're told to ask if you want to cook, and keys aren't given so you have to hope the door is unlocked to get in, otherwise contact the manager.

Nice place

Nice place, cheap. The owner seems odd at first but is very kind and hospitable. You can enjoy the facilities and the dorm is alright. There are lockers.

Could be a bit cleaner. Smelled funky and old cigarettes buds.
