Delicious breakfast in this amazing house with its 900 year old history.

A beautiful house and loved the family history with it. Good sized room with view over the garden. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, with fresh milk in a fridge just outside. Freshly cooked breakfast was delicious.

The room was a wonderful size with a big and comfortable bed. Bathroom looks like it has recently been refurbished and looked really good. Thank you.
The hostess and family were great. Wonderful to see what it’s like to live in a home like that and have the family living in there and serving and could get to know them and their history.
Good quality food and drink used for the breakfast and very yummy brownies thank you.
I know it’s expensive and things are getting done and I’m sure these are on your big list to do.
To paint whole of the outside so it looks better.

This is a very unique experience with a very friendly host.
And we learned a lot about poisonous plants at the exhibition in the garden (i. e. park).

Loved hearing about the history of the house. The bed was very comfortable. Great breakfast. Hot water was available very late after a long day of walking. Grand decor. All round a very pleasant surprise that exceeded our expectations!
There was a communal fridge for milk, but there was nowhere chilled to store our wine. The country lanes to the property were a bit difficult to navigate at night. Luckily the staff told us of a much easier route for the rest of our time there (and even sent instructions before we arrived, we just didn't read the email in time).

Beautiful grounds very quiet
Very run down lots of cobwebs in entrance hall could do with a de clutter , curtains need taking down as falling to pieces , unfortunately it needs a lot of money spent on it , room was freezing when we arrived at 10pm rooms smell very musty

A wonderful historic manor which has been in the same family for over 100 years. The owners are good company with lots of interesting stories about the fascinating history of the place. Our room was huge with a claw foot bath which was lovely, and breakfast was great. Parking was easy outside the front door. A short drive away is the Cornish Arms at Tavistock where we enjoyed a magnificent meal. A very welcoming family and we would definitely return
Nothing, it was fabulous
