Inexpensive facility located some 2 km from the centre of Verdun. Helpful and friendly staff. It sticks to the standards of the F1 network.
We do not have any particular critical remark.

Clean relly bad

It was cheap and close enough to downtown Verdun
Unmade beds upon arrival. We had to make our own beds. Very small rooms. Sheets in the bunk bed was some type of blanket and didn’t have proper bedding

It’s an F1 so you know what to expect.
Nothing

Good location, short flat walk to a couple of restaurants and shops.
Shared bathroom was not great, but OK for one night at this price point. Breakfast was poor and not worth the, admittedly cheap, extra cost.

Cheap.
Reception personal.

Close to centre, cheap
Beds were uncomfortable, no towels

Simple, comfortable and good localities with nice breakfast. Nicely cheap.
Very basic. Shared toilets is not for the fainthearted.

The location is good because we drive to there. Very quiet. The price for two persons, great! The bathroom and toilet are clean. Not many clients so it's quiet. Meet our budget!

Impossible to get in
We booked the room, but it was impossible to get in. The check-in-machine was not working, so we could not get the room code. The phone number given in the reservation process was not working! Next-door hotels were fully booked, we finally found the Hotel Campanilla in Verdun which was good and we didn't have to spend the night in the car and drive 10 hours the next day without sleeping.
Simply - the service of Hotel F1 is very bad, we do not recommend it. It may happen that the check-in-machine is not working, but the staff should be available on the phone to solve it.
The goog thing was that Booking.com returned the money for the unfulfilled stay.

Proximity to Verdun fortresses
Unfortunately as previously arranged with management we arrived late, around 9:30 pm. we could not find any sign directives to management, had no code sent to us to enter the building or a room number if we had entry codes. in front of the building there gathered a dozen people talking and enjoying themselves, they said they were Bulgarian. they were not guests but kept a foot in the front door to anyone to use the toilets and shower. This group coming in and out of two or three large vans did not appear trustworthy to us, nor could they (or would they) offer any information on who was in charge of the building. in fact the place seemed abandoned of any authority so we drove away and slept in our small rental car at a highway rest stop. We did try the phone number but did not know the means of dialing a + sign at the beginning of the hotel phone number ( discovering days later that pressing the “0” for several moments would bring up the +. The next day we were given an entry code and room for the next two nights as booked. I did not explain the situation as the late arrival arrangement was new to us and thought perhaps we had arrived past the arranged time. I should add that we had just arrived in Paris, had driven through a terrific storm and were not proficient in French so felt quite helpless. had codes been sent by email we could have managed

Price and location.
1. Difficult to check in because of faulty check machine. Almost gave up and wanted to go next door hotel. fortunately it finally let me in.
But other visitor gave up and spent his night in his vehicle.
Looks like the hotel charges for money for staying not letting guests in, as it is impossible to cancel booking when you are there at 22:00.
2. The hotel worn out and needs refurbishment.

Lack of staff meant I had to wait till 6pm to obtain room even though I booked in at 4pm .(went down the road to McDonalds for a coffee

This stay was a total disaster. My husband, his brother and our children arrived at the hotel and were given pass keys; the receptionist then went home early. One of the keys did not work and there was nobody to help my family or let them into the room. My family were then forced to squash into one room meaning my teenage daughter had to share a small room with her uncle and my son and husband had to sleep on the floor.
Also the light was broken in one of the bathrooms so it could not be used.
There was noise all night from what appeared to be a party in one of the rooms.
The key which didn’t access the room also didn’t let my family out of the hotel after a miserable night’s lack of sleep, fortunately they had the second key.

Price.
It is F1, which comes with shared showers, toilets and. long distance to city center.
Only 1, and badly placed, electrical outlet in a triple room.

Cigarette smell in lobby and corridors.

Easy checkin though the key pad. The parking was also included which was nice. Close to a grocery store
Some soap for the sinks would be nice

Cheap
Smelled of cigarettes every where. The sheets, the blankets....horrible. Even though I Specifically asked to have a non smoking room. Also asked for two close rooms since we have children but they put us appart. Very poor. Cheap but still not worth the price.

it was cheap
no towels included in the price, very tired toilet and showers, mattress was very thin and covered with a sweaty plastic sheet

All that you'd expect from an F1, basic but clean, tidy and comfortable. Perfectly good for a stop over etc. It has a secure/gated parking area which we appreciated when we were moving from the UK to Italy and used this as a stop off with a car and trailer packed with our stuff. If the pizza restaurant past the next door buffalo grill is open, I can recommend that too.

Notthing but please towels need to be in the room and available for the guests !
No welcome no one waiting the guest
