Beautiful Hotel located at the best beach

As always our favorite Hotel on Loh Kood! We love this place and wouldn’t go to any other hotel on this island! Staff is always friendly and very helpful! Thank you for the private Lesson of Thai Boxing ! Thank you for making us feeling home 🥰

After being there many times unfortunately we can see that it needs renovation. Some furniture were broken, the gym needs to be new equipped as a 5star and the grass should also be in a better shape. A little bit more attention to the cleanliness at the pool (sunbeds) and at the beach bar would make the rating a 10!

Besser kann man nicht entspannen.

Sehr schöne Anlage. Man braucht keine Schuhe mehr. Sehr gute Küche im Restaurant. Frühstück mehr als ausreichend. Toller Strand. Meer klasklar und ruhig. Preise an der Bar und im Retaurant moderat. Tolle Mitarbeiter.

Zu wenige Liegen am Strand und schon um 08:00 belegt. Sivester-Dinner war, für das gebotene, leider preislich mehr als überhöht.

Oasis

This hotel is truly wonderful. The service is exceptional - friendly, genuine and they sometimes answered our questions before we even had to ask them! The hotel is set in such a beautiful and well maintained space. The lodge itself was very aesthetically pleasing and very well appointed. The bathroom was particularly nice with lots of natural lighting and a large bath. The outside space within the lodge was also lovely and the slightly cooler private pool temperature made it perfect for cooling down after the beach. The large central pool is great for swimming lengths and is fairly quiet throughout the day. The beach area is a lovely space to unwind and relax. The sea is so clear and warm, truly a beautiful area. The buffet breakfast was vast and tasty.

The gym equipment is very old and some of the machines no longer work. The yoga mats are a little old and past their best. Free weights only go up to 10kg. But it was better than nothing. There are a limited number of loungers by the beach and they tend to fill up in the morning.

Need to clean the beach as there are so many plastic bottles & rubbish on the beach. The food & drinks there are overpriced compared to other 5* hotels we stayed.

Exceptional

Everything! The staff are amazing, they make you feel like family. The location is breathtaking, its like being in the middle of a rainforrest but at the beach, the sounds of the birds and the rain it was amazing. Also very handy shop nearby. The food was the best Ive ever experienced in any hotel. In addition to High Season staff, every other person I met on Koh Kood was so kind, friendly and helpful. It is a wonderful community.

Incredible resort on an incredible island.

This resort was incredible. The location was some of the best I’ve ever stayed. The beach is perfect, it is a long white sandy beach which is great for swimming and snorkelling in. The water was so comfortable we would happily go out again at sunset and take in the beautiful views. The staff were all wonderful, especially Pepe, Janis, and Peter, along with many others. The restaurant was great with some great vegetarian choices and all the food was delicious. The happy hour at the beach bar is well worth a visit, the cocktails were amazing. During our stay we also went to the spa for an amazing massage which was also really good value.

This is a really tiny point but the house keeping staff always came to our room around 4pm - 5pm which is around the time we would want to come back from the beach and chill, so it would have been helpful to have the service earlier in the day. However, this is a TINY point and if this is the only improvement point, highlights how great the stay was.

Absolutely amazing. Brilliant. Wonderful - get room 204 if you want privacy for the private pool. Even the complimentary bottle of wine was excellent quality.

Best hotel ever! Dreamy

Hands down the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms really have the wow factor and look way better in real life than the pictures. We loved it so much we extended our stay here. Gorgeous lemongrass bath products, daily fresh fruit and Thai treats delivered to room, extremely attentive staff. Pool was exceptional and the beach - just wow. crystal clear waters, free kayaks and paddle boards, delicious Mai Tai cocktails. Falling asleep to the sound of frogs and geckos was dreamy! I also loved the outdoor Thai bath and used it everyday. To add to such an amazing experience, we even got some really cute leaving gifts. I will never forget this wonderful place! The staff also arranged our transfer to Poi Pet border crossing to get to Cambodia. A special mention to the restaurant nearby too called ‘Seadog’ their food is amazing and unbelievably good value for money!

Beautiful, relaxing, and high end.

Our butler Pepe was so accommodating and helpful with our orientation and assisting with coordinating any activities we desired. A+++ service! Our villa was so well appointed, and the grounds were well manicured and beyond beautiful. Turn down service was extra special with candies and aromatic oil candles lit in your room nightly.

The pools could use a paint job and you can find cheaper options for food and drink offsite. Otherwise, nothing of concern.

Amazing beach, beautiful facilities, brilliant bar and happy hour! Great location to other restaurants and beaches. Easy access. Turn down service every night.

It was very expensive compared to others on the island. We expected more for such a high price. Room was ok, not the most comfortable. Pool villas were not private at all. We were picked up and staff were so lovely, but we came back to check in at 2pm and no one knew what they were doing. We were walked to our room but they were still cleaning. We couldn't get until 1 hour later. There were no apologies. We didn't feel that was good service for the very expensive cost of hotel.

Comfy private villa

Our villa was perfect, very clean, very comfy, we appreciate that we had a total privacy at our terrace and pool (which is not the case with all villas). The garden is very nice.

A lot of trainees working. They do good their job/internship (even it feels they are not coached enough), I hope they get paid at least !!! It's not normal to see so many trainees when we pay this price for the stay. Also never seen a manager or someone in charge around... 3 of 6 pool wood loungers are broken, food in the restaurant too spicy for tourists... (we eat better at the restaurant in the street outside)... those things shouldn't happen in a 5* hotel

great villas, place and great beach.. staff dont speak english properly and food & services not the best.

They should improve their breakfast and food options. Add black tea, fresh bread. In their Vegetarian menu I found 2 times chicken and 1 time crab… Coconuts are everywhere there on the palms, but they often did not have enough to serve. And prices are very expensive. You go behind the hotel and everything is 3-5 times cheaper.

Amazing stay!

We spent 8 days at the resort during our honeymoon. The location is simply amazing, one of the nicest beach on the island, the hotel is beautiful, well organized and probably one of the best we have seen so far. We want to warmly thank the staff for their support, friendliness and possibly long lasting friendship: - Dear - Nat - Chalee - Shalam - Mek - Fern - Pen - Kong and all the remaining staff and management we do not recall the names. Thank you! And once more High Season is worth a stay

Rats in the ceiling kept us awake all night. Other than that nice place.

Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, happy hour was nice, beach was nice.

On the last night of our stay we had rats in the ceiling of our room. the noise was irritating and quite frightening, we didn’t get any sleep. Unfortunately upon informing the front desk, they sent someone who just said “oh yes these are rats or bats that live in the ceiling. nothing to do about it” The next day we asked for a reimbursement of that night as it was NOT cheap, and they have failed to provide any answer. Too bad this is the way they treat guests on a hotel that was the most expensive on our trip.
