I liked the location, the dogs, the nature around it, the view, the breakfast prepared with love.
I didn’t like the lack of WiFi, the fact that they didn’t change our towels during the three days that we where there.

What a fabulous stay! The owner is so friendly and helpful, with advice about where to go, restaurants, coffee shops etc - she even gave us a brief Spanish lesson one morning!
We had the room with multiple beds - the room was basic but the beds were really comfortable. The best part was the view - looking straight out into the garden and to the mountains beyond. The owner puts food out for the birds every morning so we had a toucan outside the bedroom window most mornings.
The place is a few hundred metres from the centre of town which means you feel right in the countryside. But it was a straightforward walk to town even at night, though you need a torch in the dark
As above, maybe not the best choice if you want to be central.

the views are extraordinary and it’s delightful to watch birds in the garden and hang out in the hammocks. breakfasts were delicious and the staff absolutely delightful and very helpful.
the room would benefit from a lamp for reading. it would be good to be able to come and go without someone having to unlock and lock the gate after you- we didn’t want to make people get up to do this, and also being locked in isn’t a great feeling for overall safety.

the rooms were basic but the view was spectacular.
the beds were too hard for me.

The hospitality of the charming owner (señora). Beautiful view from the large garden. Tasty breakfast outside.

Mundo Nuevo has the most stunning views and the owner, Liliana, makes you feel at home the minute you arrive

Beautiful view from the garden. The breakfast was ok. The owner is friendly, chatty and speaks good English. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Warm water. The room was ( roughly) made up very day.
The WiFi didn’t work at all throughout our whole stay which was really annoying. The room and bathroom are really basic and would need some refurbishing, especially the bathroom. We had a window on the common area so we could hear people talking there during the breakfast. The curtains didn’t give enough privacy. Also, keep in mind that it’s 10 mins walk from the center of the town and there is a few minutes walk in the total darkness, along the road, so take your torch!

amazing location and view.
7.9
- amazing view
- calm, but not to far from the village
- very friendly, felt at home
- good tipps about activities
- very good breakfast
- quite a few insects in the room (but I guess that's almost unavoidable)
- rooms could be more welcoming (but they are exactly as on the fotos)
- the last part of the street is very dark at night
- beds are very hard

The VIEW is unbelievable!!! The garden is superb! Breakfast is delicious. Liliana was very kind and helpful. The kids simply felt in love with Marta. We felt at HOME. We’ve extended our stay to 6 nights and we would definitely have stayed longer. We were able to use the kitchen. There are two dogs and a cat. Perfect location just outside the village (10 minutes walk or 5000cop Willy).. We will definitely return and I highly recommend!!!
The internet was not connected at all time. But when mentioned it to Marta she would put it back on and it would work really well.

Marta and liliana are super hosts! I've never been welcomed like this and the view of the hostel is amazing. And there is hot water.

It is on a hilltop offering almost 360 degree view, and breath taking sunrise view towards Valle del Cocora. The staff was always attentive to all our needs. Breakfast included with several choices. Coffee just the way it's done traditionally in Colombia, with Aguapanela. The owner's son Mathias and their assistant Marta went above and beyond to make our wishes come true, and my sister and brother in law had one of the best Birthday celebration.
Wi-fi service could improve. Only family room has panoramic view.

The dark road from town.
The room could use and update

The kindness of the staff, Liliana gave us a lot of information and advice.
The breakfast is Amazing really, all is fresh, one of the best we've ever had, Marta is so nice !
And the View is stunning, we can see all the Valley, and that the best place in town to relax with a view
Our stay was really nice, but there could be some improvements in order to justify the price displayed :
- Good wifi connexion (really good in the town, but no wifi for 2 days in the hotel)
- Hot water system (you need to wait a long time to have hot water, sometimes more than 15/20min, it's bad to waste this amount of water)
And last if we can't use the shared kitchen, please don't mention it in the Booking description.
