Excellent property location, house was well equipped, nicely decorated, spacious, clean and we loved the fireplace. There are board games to play and a lovely new kitchen. After a day of skiing though, you really need a good nights rest and we all felt that, true to other reviews, the queen beds were uncomfortable and noisy. With updated bed frames and mattresses, Luna Stella would be perfection!

The house was nicer then the pictures portrayed. It was clean and perfect for our family and kids friends. The house comfortably sleeps 8 and is in a great location right behind the "Last Chair". We would love to stay there again.

So close to mountain. Fireplace stove our favorite part! We’ll kept and we’ll stocked. Had everything we need. Perfect cozy setup for 2 big families to stay together. Our only minor gripe was the squeeky and somewhat uncomfortable bed in the upstairs room but we absolutely loved Stella Luna

Great Living Space Near Mt. Snow
Great sized living room area, mud room was a plus for keeping house clean, google nest and fireplace control made for easy warmth control. House was also very stocked with kitchen supplies and utensils. Excellent location near Mt. Snow and restaurants. Only suggested improvements would be newer mattresses, current were very broken-in and uncomfortable and also was a slight odor in kitchen that we were unable to identify root cause of.

BEAUTIFUL cabin and amazing location
My stay at Luna Stella was amazing. The cabin was beautiful and impeccably clean - it looked just as the images portray. Jeffrey the owner was extremely responsive, helpful and friendly. The location was perfect there is a fun brewery less than a 10 min drive away and challenging / and easy hikes within 15 min away. I would definitely stay here again and recommend anyone traveling to West Dover to stay here.

This could easily be a five star rental
This house has the potential to be a five star rental. We stayed there for 3 nights mid week in February. There were two couples, a 13 yr old and a 10 year old. Proximity to Mount Snow was great. It was maybe a 5 minute drive. The house is set up nicely and was immaculate. A large dining room table comfortably sat eight. This was probably one of the cleanest houses we’ve rented. Light switches were labeled, bathrooms were updated, lots of towels available and extra paper goods if needed. Easy check in and check out procedures. All bedrooms had flat screen tv’s and WiFi was good.
That said we encountered two issues that led to the 3 star rating. The first was the queen size beds. Both couples found them to be very uncomfortable as they had no support and you would keep rolling into the middle. The first floor bed squeaked loudly whenever you moved. The second issue was the kitchen supplies. There were plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware and utensils but there was a serious lack of pots and pans to cook in. There was one super small pot and a steamer pot and a bunch of fry pans, most of them had seen better days.
We would rent this place again if those things were taken care of.

This is a wonderful place. The space and light is fantastic. The furnishings are cozy and upscale. Very convenient to skiing, dining, shopping and entertainment. Check-in was a breeze and our local contact was very accommodating. You really can't miss with this one and we hope to re-book for longer next time.

The Christmas decorations made the home so cozy. There was plenty of wood and we had a fire going everyday. We also used the outdoor fire pit.
The house is in beautiful condition- looks like it was just redone. Two miles to Mt. Snow and plenty of nice restaurants around.

Very attractive house, well furnished. Easy to communicate with the owner.. I woild have given it five stars except for a few snafus with the internet/cable and a couple of issues with supplies, which probably were not the owner's fault. I would not hesitate to rent again.

Great location!
We stayed here with four adults and four young kids. There was more than enough space for everyone. The house was very nice and had most everything we needed. The only negatives were that the house was 52 degrees when we arrived and the toaster seemed to be broken. The heat was supposed to be turned up remotely, but it wasn't. Other than that, the house and location were great.

Stella Luna was exactly what we were looking for- it was charming, beautiful layout that worked perfectly for our family. It has plenty of parking, a shed outside by the walkway with shovels, its close to the road & other houses but not too close,you still feel private. You walk into the house tbrough a large mudroom , where you can hang up your coats, leave your boots, skiis, snowboards etc We also used the cubbys for helmets, case of water, champagne, and cans of seltzer/soda. then you walk into the kitchen, with a large island to your left & the stove to your right, very nice with stainless appliances, coffee maker,toaster- we had trouble figuring out how to use it, microwave, there were beautiful dishes, all kinds of glassware,bowls,kitchenware There are 2 bedrooms off the kitchen - one with a queen bed , with a lovely chair,& small tv, tge other had 2 bunks both with a double on bottom and single on top, so you can sleep 6 and a large closet. A nice touch is tge basket filled with children books. One of the bathrooms is off the kichen. The dining room and living room were large and comfortable . Another loveseat or large chair would be nice but the bench was nice enough. Theres a game area built into the side of the fireplace, with boardgames, cards,etc we had fun playing one night. Our son left a game he won at the arcade down at The Chair Lift restaurant. fireplace was perfect, floor to ceiling with lots of wood, gave warmth along with tranquility. Also the gorgeous floor to ceiling windows and sliding glass doors to a deck added to make the house perfect! On the deck is several chairs, a bench , a small firepit - which unfortunately due to lots if snow we didnt use and lots of wood for fireplace and firepit on the end of the deck in a nice covered shed. The 2nd bedroom is upstairs with a bathroom, very private. Then in the unfinished basement is a washer and dryer, and a bonus for us - a foosball table!! we had a family foosball tournament! lots if fun! We never turned on any of the tvs for 2 days, thats with 3 teenage kids! Amazing! We walked to both restaurants at the end of the road, Joe's Marketplace was better , but The Chairlift has an arcade and larger bar.
The house is only 7 minutes to the main lodge at Mount Snow! Perfect! And only few miles to Wilmington, where we love the 1836 Country store and walking around the town.
We really enjoyed our stay, our only regret was we couldn't stay longer!

A real fireplace was a big plus for us.
The house is big enough for 8 adults + two kids, or 4 adults and 4 kids, but wasn't uncomfortably vast for the three of us.
It's 5 short minutes away from the slopes.

Wonderful ski house vacation spot at Mt. Snow. Everything you would need to enjoy time with your family. Very close to ski slope but you still feel like your in the woods. Beautiful home
Our family of 5- 3 adult children came for Christmas vacation for 4 nights. The setting is beautiful. In the woods. But able to wal to 2 good restaurants/ bars in 5 minutes. We cooked in every night in the well appointed kitchen. The layout was amenable to good family time. Christmas tree available as were games puzzles. Wood right outside for fireplace. Separate bed and bath upstairs with 2 bedrooms and bath downstairs. Washer dryer came in handy for ski clothes. Driveway plowed and walk shoveled twice for our White Christmas! Looks just like the pictures listed! Enjoy!!
