Two delightful nights in an interesting town. Highly recommend The Virginian.

Very helpful staff, large comfortable room. Superb food at rooftop terrace/ restaurant and basement steakhouse.

One lift broken and the other unreliable. Needs fixing.

Nice place to sleep but look elsewhere to eat or drink

Good location and nice renovation of old building

Rooftop bar /resturant was a big disappointment, No view, dirty poor service

Weit entfernt von einem 4 Sterne Hotel !

Die Lage war gut und auch die Rooftop Bar.

Das Zimmer war sehr dunkel mit Blick auf den Hinterhof und auf die gegenüberliegende Mauer. Die laute Lüftung hörte man andauernd.

not sure if I would choose here again. Pretty costly considering no breakfast and cost of parking

fee for parking, it was convenient but I didn't appreciate the charge and not knowing up front

Had a nice couple of days while we closed on our new home.

Breakfast was good, the William and Henry restaurant was excellent and the Skyline was also excellent.

A little disappointed that they charged $12 for parking, which they did not sat there was a charge for. We didn't use Valet parking which was $17, they asked if we were parking the car ourselves and told us to place the card in the windshield we found out there was a charge on check out.

My omelette was delicious. The room was gorgeous and the little touches perfect.

Location , Beautiful Property

Housekeeping knocking on door @ 8 AM , when there is a 11:00 Checkout . No real breakfast after 11:00 when there are restaurants on the property

Victorian style at its best

Beautiful building, large and very comfortable room, very nice bathroom, excellent location

Although nicer than in other places we have been, the breakfast, especially the breakfast room, lacks any kind of charme…

The feeling of relaxed luxury.

Loved the Skyline restaurant and their menu.

Breakfast could be a little better. Would have liked a larger selection and waiter/waitress service.

Impressive opulence at every turn

The elegance of the property can not be overstated. Not a speck of dust can be detected. It carries an air of being lovingly maintained. Tangible history still lives in the walls. The Virginia truly feels like American Royalty. Amazingly, it was priced so that my kids and I (a middle class group) could enjoy all of the opulence and history. We all agree that it was the nicest stay we have ever had!

Great location and ammenities to make a perfect place to stay.

we had a Junior suite which was perfect for myself and husband and son. The Marigold opened early enough for breakfast for my son to get food before his swim meet. skyline the perfect place to relax after a busy day.

The best hotel stay I have had in a long time.

The staff was *exceptionally* friendly. Front desk staff were great conversationalists and the doorman gave excellent recommendations. It truly felt like a very welcoming hotel.

Maybe the room was a bit small? I found the entire experience exceptional. I don't have more to say.

Luxury Hotel Ecperience!

This was a luxury hotel experience for a very affordable price! The bathroom was HUGE and everything is updated! The staff were incredible!

Unfortunately there is nothing to do around the hotel Lynchburgh is a ghosttown.
