Bardzo udany pobyt. Doskonale odpoczęłam.

Lokalizacja w centrum - blisko do wszystkich miejsc, które chciałam odwiedzić. W pokoju i w hotelu czysto, cicho. Obsługa bardzo miła, chętnie pomaga, szczególnie przy pokonaniu stromych schodów z walizką.

Pleasant enough stay at a reasonable price.

Great location, walkable to pretty much all the main museums, galleries public transport etc. Staff friendly and polite. Was reasonable value for money.

It was quite noisy as in a big party area so lots of music and people around all night long, and there is no lift, though to be fair we were warned long in advance of both of these by the hotel and decided to stay anyway. Also although the towels were changed regularly and the communal areas all very clean the sheets were not changed for the duration of the stay.

Very good

Hotel seemed tucked away but location was fantastic, walkable to everywhere. We were really pleased with how close everything was. Quite basic but all the essentials needed, we were out most of the day every day but it was clean and someone came and refreshed our room daily.

Super thin walls, we went during pride week but it was more noisy inside then the partying outside. We felt like people were inside our room because of how loud it was. Also pillows were soooo thin, but the bed itself was really comfortable.

Great location to enjoy all Amsterdam has to offer

The location was perfect. It's on a busy street, but the windows blocked out almost all the sound. Communication was great and staff were very friendly. The room was bigger than we expected, comfortable and the wifi was great.

Would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room, but not a big deal.

Comfortable, convenient and cool

The hotel is located central to most attractions - everything is within a 20-30 min walk max with most places in 10 mins. The room was clean and bed comfy.

No iron or ironing board when I requested which I thought was a little strange as it's a hotel!?

Pleasant stay in the centre of Amsterdam.

The location is excellent - all tourist attractions are in walking distance & it’s close to a tram stop. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom - a bugbear of mine is that hotels are usually stingy! And there was complimentary shower gel & shampoo.

As others have said, the stairs are steep. However, this is a fact of life in Amsterdam - the pubs / restaurants all have steep stairs too. The host told us we had a small room & he was correct, it was cramped, but we did see rooms much bigger than ours so if we stayed again we’d request a bigger room! Amsterdam is ‘lively’ & the location means you’ll hear noise all night. This didn’t bother us but I believe there are ‘quieter’ rooms which can be requested.

Great place to stay

The price was amazing for this location, with plenty of dining options outside and within walkable distance to the main sights. This is a small private hotel, it's quite old and prob needs some renovations, yet, we had a great room, very spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

The rooms could be refreshed a little bit and some minor things fixed, but even 'as is' this hotel offers great value for the price and leaves a pleasant afterfeeling.

Our room was at the top off the building and had very narrow steps carrying a suitcase also was a real challenge...no hairdryer in room and no tea or coffee

Superb- will definitely be back!

This stay was one of the most enjoyable, friendly experiences I have had in any EU country. Peter the host, was outstanding. friendly, informative, kind and incredibly good at running this hotel. it was clean, warm and comfortable. I cannot wait to return!! Its central location made it all the better! Thank you Peter looking forward to seeing you again very soon!

A bit misleading...

The location The quirky interior of the hotel

The bed we had was randomly placed in the middle of the room. I understand the room was tiny but I do think it all could have been placed better (furniture wise) the shower head was full of limescale so the water came out in dribbles. The pillows and duvet seemed a bit old too. I just don't feel it was anywhere near worth the price we paid

Except for some minor issues, our stays was pleasnat

Location was excellent. Hotel owner had a good sense of humour.

While room and bathroom were clean, both were very dated, and in need of work. Melamime on cabinets in Bathroom was peeling off in some places, and wallpaper was starting to peel as well.

Very clean hotel in excellent location .

Main selling point of the property is definitely the location . very close to everything with good links to the rest of Amsterdam

don’t underestimate the stairs . Very tough after a few drinks and not for the feint hearted . I also feel a kettle should be offered as standard and not for a “nominal fee “ .

Excellent

Excellent location, basic hotel with all you need. However not for those with mobility issues as stairs up to rooms are very steep. Initially disappointed that our room view was too the back of hotel. But given its on a very busy social square we were pleased as room was quiet
