Good cafe/bar on site. Beds comfy, bathroom good.
Doors to balcony wouldnt close so lots of street noise.
Our room was above the bar, noise until 0030, started again at 0630 so poor sleep. Good secure parking for a motorcycle but expensive at €12.

Garage that connects directly to the hotel, very pleasant interior decorations, well located near centre of town.

Lovely, smiley helpful receptionist. Parking (at a cost) Take dogs (at a cost). Location. Close to good dog walking area and town centre.
No tea, coffee or kettle (we had our own). Could take dog into hotel but not the bar. VERY squeaky beds, woke every time turned over. Thin walls so could hear neighbour. Only BBC News in English.

This was our second visit to Hotel Europa , the first was 4 years ago and the same standards still apply. Very friendly staff , clean rooms, fantastic comfortable bed , parking facilities and central location.
We will definitely visit again and recommend to friends.

Great value, clean and central. Staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet was fresh and plenty of choice for a continental breakfast for €5.50. Hotel bar has good selection of tapas.
Shower was very weak and rooms are old fashioned

NICE ROOMS. GOOD BAR WITH VERY GOOD CHOICE OF TAPAS. PET FRIENDLY WITH A GRASSED AREA TO WALK DOGS VERY CLOSE BY.
WOULD HAVE LIKED TWO EXTRA PILLOWS. THE SHOWER HEAD HAD TO BE HANDHELD, AS THE FIXING IN THE WALL WAS BROKEN.

Good location, secure car park, comfortable bed
completely inadequate air con, dark dingy bedroom with tiny window looking over underground car park
poor sound insulation- noisy

well located for an overnight stop off, between the ferry ports of Bilbao and Santander, travelling to southern Spain.
Breakfast could have been better the baguettes were very dry.

Sadly we did not reach the Hotel as our car broke down en route. I notified Booking I would not make it, and asked that my reservation be cancelled. I hope Booking acted on my instruction, and I am not charged.

Good central location and good parking in hotel.
The first room we were given was not a terrace room as booked and smelt terribly of damp. When we did get the right room, the terrace overlooked an alley with air-conditioning pipes everywhere. In the morning there was no hot water available.

The hotel is located in the city center. There is a good and safe parking (10 euros). There was an air conditioning in the room. There was breakfast, but with poor choice.
The receptionist did not speak English at all. He was kind and friendly, but we were not able to get information we needed😕 Parking place costs additional 10 euros. Toilet flush was broken🤕 Breakfast is mostly cookies, pastries and donuts; cereals and fruts are available. No eggs, sousages, vegetables at all.

Our room was very large in fact it looked like it could also be a small meeting room as it had a buffet style table as well as a dining table and four chairs. It had a small patio. The hotel was clean. Very efficient air conditioning. I liked the drop down metal security shutters as it made the room nice and dark. Garage parking is literally next door to the hotel BUT it’s a one way street and you come to the garage first, if you go past it you have to drive around to get back. Best parking we’ve ever been in! Plenty of room and a straight ramp to get in and out and decent sized bays.
Found it very noisy. Open internal balconies on the corridor (first floor) so ALL noise from downstairs was broadcast through the first floor (and unfortunately there was a children’s party so no siesta for us!) Also noise of talking etc right into the early hours. We had twin beds and my husbands was very creaky & squeaky to the extent that whenever he moved around it woke me up. I wish booking.com had a policy of giving details of exactly where the hotels have their parking. We had another mini drive around the busy town (on instructions from hotel reception) only to realise that the garage was literally next door to the hotel entrance, the receptionist had assumed that we were literally outside the hotel entrance and therefore had already passed the garage - we hadn’t. Not impressed with the food, we had menu of the day on arrival for lunch (all that was on offer) and it left a lot to be desired. We hadn’t finished starters when mains were served, the main dish was (in effect) beef stew but it was easily 80% bone and fat. Breakfast wasn’t much better, on first sight it looked good but bread had obviously been cut a long time and was drying out, only coffee on offer hot drinks wise and croissants had the texture of having just been got out of a big pre packed bag. The hotel had a dated feel.
