Great castle, comfortable room, easy parking, great beakfast. Close to several mountains. Königscard offers a lot of possibilities to do nearby.
Would be great to have an electric kettle in the room.

The location, close but not too close to the main tourist spots, the rolling green hillsides.
The weather during our stay was unfortunately not the best, so we couldn't enjoy walking and exploring the neighbourhood.

I loved loved loved the staff, the location, the property itself is very unique and interesting and the little town was great.
nothing, however, I would mention their is no air conditioning so if you go and it happens to be a hot night in Bavaria you might be warm. It was great for me bec

Nice stay. As we arrived very late and had to leave early enough to loss the breakfast, we didn’t experience the castle very mich, but the room was huge and comfortable.

The location was beyond beautiful. The building itself is lovely, and the room was fantastic -- it was huge! The bed was huge! The bathroom was huge! I wish we'd stayed more than one night because I feel like I didn't get to make the most of it. I also loved that they let us poke around the castle, and I loved learning about the connection to computing history.
Hmmm, I can't think of anything. Just that we didn't stay a second night?

This is a beautiful hotel with great staff and excellent food. A wonderful choice for discovering Bavaria. Just a 15 minute drive to the main castles. Thoroughly recommend.
Nothing - it was fantastic

What a wonderful surprise this hotel is. We found it at random and could not be happier about the choice, from clean, comfortable rooms, helpfull and kind staff to their fantastic restaurant and beer garden.

Great place at a nice location with amazing staff. The breakfast was great. We had coffee and cake one afternoon: amazing. And we had drinks after hours in the courtyard and the "chef" was happy to get us drinks even though the restaurant was closing. The wi-fi worked fine. The room was on the small size but perfectly fine. We had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. This is a very short drive to Fuessen and lots of other places to visit nearby that may not be in your tourist guidebook.
My only suggestion is: A small fridge in the room would have been nice given how hot it was when we were visiting and even our chocolate was melting.

Rooms were well appointed considering the awkward room shapes in the 500+ year old castle. The reception staff were very helpful with recommendations for evening restaurants.
Would have liked easier access to tea and coffee. Family rooms or co-located rooms would have been great.

Lovely castle, lovely breakfast, lovely garden, lovely village. Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, friendly staff. Good price as well.
Only one minor thing: a little fridge in the room would have been nice.

This is a castle, in a beautiful garden estate, in a lovely country. We stayed in the top floor apartment, amazing. We had dinner and 2 breakfasts, again, top quality and lovingly presented. Our first night it was quiet and we felt like Kings of the castle.
They had a wedding there on our last night, who had the entire castle and were blasting Metallica at midnight--good music but not when you're trying to sleep, and no staff were around to keep them quiet. Was totally inappropriate for us, and tarnished what was otherwise a perfect stay.

Good location and easy to find, intriguing history, nice breakfast. It was exactly what we looked for and wanted!
Maybe it was just bad luck and poor organisation, but we could not check in (at 5 pm) and had to come back an hour later...

We had a very good dinner at the restaurant of the hotel. Food was local and recipes traditional. Overall it was good value for a good price. It was wintertime when we were there and the whole landscape around the castle was completely covered in ice and snow creating a special atmosphere. The bed was comfortable and the room had a nice view. On the second floor, it was possible to appreciate an exhibition area with traditional pieces of furniture and decorations.
The bathroom was very small and there was not much space to hang clothes.
