Absolutely loved the location, virtually right on the lake. Staff very friendly and decor of hotel was very stylish but also very comfortable. Veranda Restaurant was also great, food delicious and such a treat to dine with the amazing view.
Afraid I could not think of anything that could be improved.
4.5
Absolutely stunning location right on the edge of the lake. Fabulous breakfasts with attentive & friendly staff keeping all eating areas clean & topped up with delicious foods.
Peaceful hotel with plenty of space to relax around the pool, on the decking in front of the lake or in the shade in the well-kept garden. And…what a view.
A rather frosty & inflexible attitude from a couple of ‘front-desk’ people when an issue was highlighted.

beautiful location and scenery, great breakfast, room was great for a family, food was nice and reasonably priced, nice sunbathing spots overlooking the pool and lake.
swimming pool was very cold but otherwise nothing.

Location. Comfort. Excellent breakfast apart from hot food, which was left to dry out all morning until inedible.
Central heating poor (Room 308).

Fabulous breakfast and views

The lakeside location with views. Seeing ferries so close by. Proximity to the landing stages.
The breakfast choices are plentiful and the staff assiduous in replenishing supplies. Both the interior dining room and the external glass cube are pleasant. (The season was too late and weather somewhat mixed, so that we did not experience the pool or its surroundings,
The public spaces were sometimes dominated by tour group activities, so leaving little seating for other guests.
Position of bidet was not very thoughtful (you almost trip over it upon entering the shower room). There is no hook for towel or clothes close to the shower enclosure.

Our third visit to Rivalago and always a pleasant experience.
Not enough parking spaces

An excellent hotel by any standard. Spectacular location on the lake, with direct access to the water.
Pool and Jacuzzi on the lakeside. Large and spacious rooms (in my opinion, larger than indicated on the website).
A spacious and exceptionally comfortable bed.
A spacious and pleasant shower. Everything in the room, in the public parts in the pool in the restaurant in the parking lot, is perfectly clean and tidy.
The best breakfast we had in Italy (and one of the best we had in hotels in the world).
Bottom line - it was a vacation we will remember.
1. Such clasic and expensive hotel ask you to pay extra money for fresh pool towels! you get one towel per person in the room which need to be used all your stay.
we didn't experience such request in any other hotel we stayed in the world.
2. No room service or "light" food options in the hotel or surrounding area (if you don't like to eat at the Hotel fancy evening Restaurant). you need to drive at least 15 mints to the near city.
This is the only reason I didn't grade this hotel as 10,

Amazing view and location, excellent breakfast and dinner
Small parking (hotel warnied about that before), not very easy to find/access the hotel with a larger car.
4.5
Wonderful place directly at the Lago d'Iseo with beautiful views. The place was really great, friendly staff and a great breakfast buffet. Really enjoyed the dinner service at the restaurant too, try the truffle pasta.!
As a beautiful boutique Hotel its great for young and older couples. the rooms / family suits are great for kids, but if you have active kids its a bit too small (pool...etc.). Despite that great and surely will come back.
4.5
Amazing views over the lake and position of the pool and decking area. Breakfast I has everything you want and more. The restaurant setting is amazing and the food was excellent.
Unfortunately, our room was suppose to have an inner courtyard view. We had a brick wall facing our window. It should really be stated that some of the rear rooms will be looking onto a brick wall and not the inner courtyard.

staff was very friendly and welcoming
bedroom, even though small, is very comfortable with high quality bed mattress and sheets

great location and nice atmosphere, good food
service in the restaurant was a bit slow
4.5
Great location, beautiful garden and restaurant area. Delicious and abundant breakfast. Great view of the lake. We were offered a room upgrade for a reasonable price with the possibility to check in early as the room was already made
It is a lovely place, the only weird thing was that they had an odd choice of music at breakfast - playing Christmas songs in the middle of July under the scorching sun, but other than that all was great!
4.5
Stunning location and beautiful hotel, the pool area and garden were just perfect. Breakfast was fantastic too. Our room was fabulous
Nothing! Just to mention if your driving and parking at the hotel the parking is very tight!
4.5
The location is amazing!
I have come here before, and the service has become horrible. The receptionists were rude and didn't help with basic stuff (like soap!) The restaurant and the hotel are now separate so you are constantly running parallel bills, you are allowed to only sit on some tables if you are dining with the restaurant and others if you have drinks from the hotel. It's a mess. Also, not their fault but the only restaurant in town closed down so you are forced into their overpriced restaurant with mediocre food.
4.5
The hotel staff friendliness, absolutely beautiful location and facilities.
Restaurant... but the restaurant is run separately from the hotel so food and service is another company. But it's a breathtaking setting for a dinner.

Decor of the bedrooms and carpet
4.5
excellent and helpful staff, beautiful place, excellent location, swimming pool, restaurant near the lake
4.5
Incredible location. Staff helpful. Definitely pre-book parking. They have limited parking at the hotel. There is parking externally available about a 10 min walk away (steep hill).
Breakfast was next level amazing. There was even soy milk cappucino. Restaurant was excellent for dinner.
Room was super.
Views were wonderful. Pool was very nice. Close to ferry as well.

Clean room in an annex to the main hotel. Location in Sulzano was strategically located to key sights, including the ferry to Monte Isola. Lakeside location and view from breakfast area was amazing.
The internal hotel carpark was a nightmare to park in - small and incredibly tight. We recommend parking at the train station public carpark which is a short distance away.
4.5
amazing location directly at the lake.
Delicious Italian food and wonderfully assorted Italian wines at reasonable prices.
4.5
view of the lake.
