This is a wonderful hotel. We spent a week in Andalucia and this was the best food we ate. Wonderful cooks, really recommend the chicken pate.
Nothing at all.

Great little motel on the outskirts of Ronda. Restaurant is a must why drive into town when the food is great at reasonable price. Had swim in pool and relaxed on lounge for couple hours.
Bit of traffic noise which settles down later in the evening.

Great small retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Very pleasant hosts, nice small pool, clean and spacious room and good breakfast. Very convenient parking in front of the property.
Of course being where it is even though quiet means that you need a car to get around every day. If you have one no problem but likely will need to pay parking in Ronda for example.
Doors and windows are not fully soundproof but we had no problems with noise during our stay.

Everything was perfect 😊 A large room with super comfy beds, a beautiful place to relax and everyone was very friendly. Tip: If you're going to stay there, we recommend that you try their restaurant, the food is delicious.

The hosts make this place. Elaine is friendly and Ian is a great cook. The pool was very enjoyable. If you want to eat, drink and lounge around the pool, this is the place. For breakfast, they will cook eggs to your liking. As we left early, they made us a picnic breakfast. Our room had a wood burning heater so would be great in winter.
The eggs for breakfast were great but the rest of the breakfast was limited, including old apples and cellophane wrapped muffins. For the picnic breakfast, we requested no ham for one serve but got it anyway. It should be noted this property is not in Ronda so a car is required.

Elaine went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect. The location was ideal, just a 10 minute drive from Ronda which gave us the perfect balance of peace and quiet to relax but with access to the beautiful sights of the historic town. The facilities were very well maintained and we made lots of use of the swimming pool with cocktails readily available! Breakfast was amazing with much more available than we could ever manage.
Not being able to stay longer!

A very warm welcome, the style and decor of the hotel, the ease with which my husband was able to move around in his wheelchair, the relaxing atmosphere at the pool and the good food and service in the outside restaraunt.
A very comfortable bedroom and beautiful adapted bathroom.
The noise of the warning system for the level crossing of the railway line nearby

Little gem, close enough to Ronda for convenience, and far enough away to feel like a proper holiday! Very comfortable, very authentic, Elaine and team were incredibly accommodating and helpful. Great breakfast! Our room had a massive terrace, and as wildlife lovers we were captivated by the activity in and around the river.
Nothing to note from us, but I wonder if light sleepers may be disturbed by trains at certain times if the day.

The hotel is so friendly and personable and the owners were fabulous. They clearly work incredibly hard to create such a unique hotel - the rooms were beautifully furnished and clean and the pool was lovely to relax in and sit by. However it is the food that is truly excellent (both breakfast and dinner) the huge choice of fish or meat cooked on an open bbq in front of you really made it so special for us. We loved the atmosphere eating outside - magical evenings!
Absolutely nothing - it was fabulous!

The food was nice. We had a lovely tomato salad and the barbecue was good. The room was excellent and very comfortable. The aircon worked well. Ian and Elaine made us feel very welcome.
Flies and wasps were a bit of a pain outside but frankly unavoidable at the height of summer and they disappeared once the sun went down. Fresh orange juice for breakfast would have been nice and I would recommend moving check in/check out forward an hour as I noticed that everyone descended for breakfast at the last minute. However it was no big deal.

For those travelling through Andaluzia by car, Hotel Rural Molino del Puente is the real deal. Close enough to reach Ronda within minutes, while avoiding staying at Ronda's crowded historical center and expensive parking system (which I did in the past).
Here, what you see is what you get, a cosy and friendly place, that you will like to stay longer, guaranteed. The price-cost is fair, and you will surely receive a warm reception.
I have travelled all around the world for the past 10 years and there were only a couple of times where I had dinner at a Hotel. After reading the comments of other travellers, I decided to have dinner at Molino del Puente. The dinner is prepared by the owners, grilled right in front of you. I can only tell you that it was so amazing that we repeated on the very next day.
Moline del Puente is genuine, I even enjoyed the train line nearby and the bees.

The Pool Area was small but very cosy. The breakfast was ok. Our room was quite big. In the bathroom was a jacuzzi, which we didn't use. The bed was comfortable and pillows soft. Staff was nice.
They didn't reply to our messages beforehand so we didn't know that the hotel restaurant was closed also during our stay there. That was a huge disappointment.

It was nice to be outside Ronda and away from the hustle and bustle, while still close. Parking was good - lots of space. We were fortunate with our room as it had an absolutely amazing terrace - I would really recommend getting one of those two rooms as the room itself was quite small and dark. Excellent storage space however. Very clean, and an excellent shower in the bathroom. A bit hard to open the shower gel triangles though with wet hands - we had to have scissors handy! We were asked every day what extras we needed for the room, which was a very good idea. The bar was always open and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was in a nice location in the courtyard and the food and service were good, with a varied choice. The air con in the rooms worked well.
Breakfast was ok but a limited selection. The fresh fruit was a little disappointing as it was two apples a day. Everything was in the plates on arrival (Serrano, cheese and chorizo) so amount was also limited. That was fine for us but may have been a bit light for others. Eggs and bacon were offered and well cooked. Toast also - nice bread, but no croissants or pastries. I do appreciate the desire to minimise food waste though. It was also very dark in the breakfast room. The biggest issue for us was the train track behind our room. Not so much the trains, as there aren’t that many but the level crossing is also there and the alarms are loud. The trains also occasionally sound their horns and did start quite early on a couple of the days we were there. There is also traffic noise. I would say the hotel and pool area look a little tired so first impression isn’t great. More information about the area and things to do would be welcome as there are a lot of attractions in the area - not just Ronda itself.

A really nice place to stay. The owners were very friendly and helpfull. We are at their resturant every evening and the food was excellent. A perfect to stay when visiting Ronda.
The railway line was quite close but as the train only came past once an hour it was not too much of a problem.
