A really nice experience thanks to Liz.

Breakfast was huge and delicious. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Liz, the owner, is lovely and made us feel totally at home. I would 100% recommend staying here - way better than a Premier Inn!

A very pleasant stay - would use again if needed in the area.

Superb, generous and well cooked breakfast. Scrupulously clean & comfortable. Good sized room and very comfortable bed. Nice owner. Well positioned for promenade / beach and on a quiet road.

A very comfortable stay with friendly hosts. The little town itself was nearby and very nice.

Enormous breakfast with lots of choice, all personally cooked by the owner.

Very pleasant, home from home

Breakfast was of the highest quality. What we particularly liked was the fact that all guests sat around a big table so that they could talk to each other!

Flexible time for breakfast. Choice of English or continental breakfast. Very quiet with window open to the backyard.

Too short bed for me at 182cm. Missing curtains in the shower.

I will definitely be staying at this B&B. Next time I go up north.

This is one of the best b&bs I have stayed in. Very friendly, clean and well run. Breakfast was the best.

Relaxing, comfortable, excellent value for money, well located.

The hotel was immaculately decorated, with an eye on quality. The home cooked breakfast was lovely. Liz made you feel welcomed as part of the family as soon as you walked through the door.

good value for money in nice room with good quality breakfast.

I had a single room. It was small but well equipped and nicely decorated. The bathroom was a wetroom and was well set out. Excellent breakfast. Parking across the street with permit provided by owner. V close to beach.

I wish I'd booked a double room, but that was my choice. The owner takes no prisoners but I'm sure is well-intentioned. I chose to be amused rather offended and everything was fine.

Fabulous stay

Great location. Lovely, well equipped room with comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast served by fascinating Liz. What more could anyone want? Thoroughly recommended.

Brilliant short stay on the NE Coast, which is fabulous 😁

Breakfast was good - lots of choice of cereals, fresh bowl of fruit berries & greek yoghurt, fresh orange juice, tea or coffee , toast made with fresh bloomer type bread, followed by cooked breakfast of your choice - all very nice 😁 Liz the Landlady is very friendly & chatty, she made us feel very welcome & at home 😁

We had a twin room downstairs & the ensuite was a wet room, there was a drain smell which wasn't pleasant. Carpet was a bit stained where people had spilt coffee.

The BEST B&B in Whitley Bay

The location is excellent for the beach and all the lovely cafes and restaurants. Rooms are an absolute delight. The beds are so comfy and the rooms have everything you could need. Liz is a fantastic hostess and her breakfasts are THE BEST. I will have many return visits to Park Lodge and I highly recommend a stay here. It's just LOVELY 😊 I came with Ralphie my dog and he enjoyed himself as well in the relaxing environment. Coco is an absolute delight. Xx

They have a minor issue with the wet room in the bedroom. Design problem

Friendly and welcoming to little doggie. Happy hearty breakfast and happy staff, and certainly Liz, would make you return. All good
