Great location and overall very good hotel

Brilliant location. Good breakfast in a nice setting. I really liked the bar/cafe areas. Staff were super helpful and courteous. Well decorated and appointed room. Excellent shower pressure.

Air-con was behind the curtains, so at night (August) we had to keep them open in order to keep the room cool, which meant the bright lights outside shone into the room. Power sockets by the beds would be helpful.

Muy buen hotel, céntrico, buen desayuno y lo mejor la terraza tan bonita y agradable donde sirven el desayuno.

Bueno, al ser un hotel antiguo no hay ascensor y hay que subir las maletas por la escalera, pero el chico de la recepción nos ayudó y tampoco es tan grave.

Ubicación excepcional en el centro de Zagreb. Tienen parking propio a 10 min a pie. Hotel histórico pero bien conservado y mantenido.

Boutique with amazing service

In an amazing location, right in the centre! The staff were incredibly nice and helpful.

It is a no car zone but thankfully it’s not hard to find so just walk up a little and there it is.

A fantastic stay in a beautiful hotel with staff that exceeded my expectations. 5 stars!

The grounds and rooms themselves were beautiful and the hotel as a whole was very quiet. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of European and continental breakfast plus some hot cooked options. The staff were lovely and accomodating and offered us compensation after a room mix-up which meant that my friend and I had to share a bed the first night. We were subsequently moved to a twin room which lead to a much better sleep for both of us. The staff even arranged for a bagged breakfast for us when they found out we were leaving at 5am for a day trip. How thoughtful!

There isn't really anything I can fault! The staff, the rooms and stay were all wonderful. Some of the rooms can be a bit small (our first one with a double bed didn't leave much wiggle room for two separate bags, etc) but this isn't unexpected in an old historical hotel in Europe.

A welcoming haven

Unique style. A haven from the busy city. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. A cosy environment to stay in. Lovely bar too with very friendly bar staff willing to let me try the wines.

It would be great if you could offer some snacks at least at the bar. I was happy to hang out there as it was a calming environment in contrast to the bustling city but there was literally nothing to eat with the drinks. Not even a bag of crisps. I also think your carpets could be cleaned. Or try taking some of them up and exposing the wooden floor with a runner on top that would be easier to clean.

Great location in the city center. Close to a lot of restauranta. Hotel has a parking even if it is far away. Decent variety at breakfast. The rooms are quite old and need a refresh but clean.

Tha parking is far away. There is no elevator. They are understaffed so nobody is free to help and you end up carrying everything by yourself even if they say the staff will help with the luggage. Biggest issue was with the breakfast where all the plates were completely dirty and also the cutlery.

Very convenient location and friendly helpful staff at reception

We had to leave early in the morning for a tour after checkout and reception staff were very kind to arrange breakfast packs for us to take away at short notice. Very nice touch.

Carrying luggage up the stairs. However this was already known to us at the time of booking.

The hotel facilities are in the need of an upgrade. Carpet and walls were dirty. There is also no elevator.

Very good

Receptionist in night shift ( forgot his name) provided exceptional service plus he is funny ,made us laugh a lot, great guy. The rest of the stuff is friendly as well they do their job professionally close to some 5 star hotel's. Location is great. Free parking is a best thing ever. Worth visiting, i will stay there again.

They should invest into new carpets and paint the walls, maybe a breakfast room should be more spacious but it's not that bad. We asked for a one large bed but got 2 beds that they merged, I can understand that there was no rooms with ours requirements but still we would accepted 2 merged beds i just find it rude not to notify us about the situation. Parking should have bigger sign a bit hard to find.

Very charming hotel with a lot of atmosphere at the foot of the old city. Little old-fashioned rooms which are very clean. The location is between the new and the old city centre!
