Turista contento en hotel Puerta del sol.

Me gustó la amabilidad del personal. Siempre atentos a servir. Muy buenas instalaciones.La piscina muy limpia. la encargada de recepción muy amable. con volvería otra vez. de 10 yo les doy un diez. Un saludo muy especial para las señoras de aseo y para Don Carlos por su amable atención. muchas gracias a todos.

nada todo bien. de recomendación hace falta instalar un teléfono de emergencia en los pasillos.por lo demás todo bien.

Negativa, el hotel debe remodelizarce, le hace falta una inspección de sanidad / salubridad

El desayuno es bueno, cuenta con variedad. Las habitaciones son amplias

1. Llegamos con 5 horas de antelación para realizar el check in que iniciaba a las 3:00 pm, la habitación fue entregada hasta las 3:30 e improvisando para lograr entregar algo. 2. Las habitaciones tienen humedad y a nivel general están en mal estado 3. Hay poco cuidado, todas las ventas están profundamente percudidas y huele a feo el edificio. 4. Para algo tan simple como pedir las toallas de cuerpo se debe pedir 3 veces para que se gestionen y eso porque la respuesta fue: no tenemos más toallas…

Es muy limpio, acogedor y el personal muy amable, llegamos muy antes de la hora de entrada y fueron diligentes en asignarnos una habitación, el desayuno muy rico y con comida típica de la región

Mejorar el sistema de duchas seria recomendable una actualización. Colocar vidrio le daría más gusto

It was ok, but I expected better

Breakfast was good, location is great, the cleaning staff is incredibly nice

I waited about 2 hours to get the room, I got it around 5. It was a little bit dirty, and looks like there’s a humidity problem in the walls.

Good value for carnival when booked in advance

The staff were great and helpful and the hotel had a good carnival vibe! Good breakfast. Would stay here again. Gracias!

Avoid at all costs.... it was flithy!!!

The rooms were full of mould and the sheets had staines on them. There was a constant aroma of damp and mould and everything was extremely tired and dirty. There were obvious signs in the restaurant that the floor had not been cleaned in many, many months and you could clearly see that they were old and ground in. We had to change rooms twice because the mould smell was unbearable! The breakfast was utterly disgraceful with exactly the same every day. I have looked at previous reviews and the hotel stated that they were starting the maintenance work almost 2 years ago, however there was no sign of work being done. We left the hotel to go to another destination and left our suitcase at the hotel, when we returned a week later, our clothes were full of mould! Unbelievable!!!!! This hotel needs a huge amount of money spent on it, to bring it up to standard and deal with the mould and damp problems. The bath had loads of cracks in it, but these had simply been painted over to disguise them, however to no avail. This hotel was disgusting everywhere and would never ever return to it again, not even if someone paid me!!!!!!! Historically I have always balanced my reviews and reported on the good, bad and the ugly, however, this place is utterly disgusting and you should avoid staying here at all costs.

the hotel was in a good location, near of an important mall and other stuffs. They have a good pool.

Back in time comfortably

The fact that upon arrival the Front office clerk was very warm and welcoming. She showed us some options of rooms.so we could have choose from. The taxi facilities parked outside ready to go at any given time is a plus. The rooms a big clean and comfortable.

The building needs maintenance.. a repaint etc. Its obviously its a dated building. The breakfast in the restaurant need some updating. Sometimes by the end of the breakfast shift they will not fill things back if its lacking. Maybe a little bit more international/continental breakfast. That the regular chicken wings with mini arepas. Scrambled egg and plantain.... hardly any bread and only 1 type of juice offered. The bar area is closed since 9pm. So don't expect entertainment or cocktails on property. The gym facility is small and warm. No more spa on location. Back in its hay day it would have bean a wonderful place... but now a days if all that doesn't matter to you its. A comfortable clean room at a great price to stay at in Barranquilla.
