Right in the heart of arrowtown so close to everything.
Room never got refreshed and we were there for 3 days

Access from back stairs bit inconvenient but all ok for what we expected.

Lovely location. Fabulous!

In the heart of town so location was great.
Customer service was not nice at all. We planned to spend our last New Zealand day in Arrowrown. Arrived on the bus at 11am after checking out of our accom in Queenstown. Asked if we could check in any earlier and was told told no, come back at 3pm. Begrudgingly agreed to let us leave our bags in the room. We returned to the hotel to wait for access to be granted and she purposely kept having other things to do. At 3pm she handed us the key. I own and run a holiday apartment myself and would have asked the cleaners at 11am to ensure room was ready first. I think spite was involved here.

The room was nice and spacious with every facility that we needed. Access without coming through the hotel was good. Sky TV was good and excellent wifi.
Dinner in their restaurant was nice and reasonably priced. Service and there was minimal delay between ordering and the food arriving. Being in the main street meant we were close to everything.
We were disappointed that they could not find our booking when we arrived. Somehow they had my first name correct but my last name incorrect.
While I understand their reasons, it would have been nice of the host to pre-warn us that they had stopped providing breakfast. We booked there because we could get dinner and breakfast onsite.
We had intended to pay with eftpos. However the hotel had used the credit card, required by booking.com to guarantee the room, to pay for the room before we arrived and charged us a surcharge.

It was such a shame the hotel was closed this day 😂 just life at the moment

The room was just right for us as it is located right in the middle of the town and it is part of the Restaurant Bar where we had a wonderful meal 🥘 We were served by the owner Kerry and her lovely daughter Briana. They run a very welcoming business…got to try the kiwi roast and the chicken Parmesan…😋
it was a tad awkward getting checked in and getting to the room but no biggie

Close proximity to the town (especially icecream and food), and the pub was a great atmosphere 10 steps away from the room. Food was great and staff were really friendly. The high speed wifi in the room was fantastic, and allowed clear video calls back home.
The room was a bit warm even with the fan and aircon set to the lowest temperature.

The room was clean and the staff were helpful. The lady in the reception helped with direction and tips to watch Queenstown new year firworks
It was hot during day and night. There was a mini-fan, not enough to even air one hand...I had no choice but to keep window open for some fresh air (although it was only possible to open it 10% because of their design) that caused mosquitos to enter the room and bite my throughout the day....I am still dealing with the consequences after a week of treatment.
There was no parking on-site and I was advised to park in a public parking space subject to availability. The parking used to get filled throughout the day making it difficult to find a spot.

Location.
Photos of rooms misleading, rooms could do with a new paint job. Beds clean and comfortable. No complimentary soap, shampoo, tissues. Dirty glasses. Signs of limited menu and staff in the restaurant but not informed to book in for dinner. Kitchen closed at 730pm. Not worth the price for one person staying.

best shower pressure I have ever had, good location, clean and comfortable
no food or bar available due to renovations

Location was perfect. Our room was a good size.
Hotel is currently closed so it was a bit of an ordeal finding our way to the rooms via the back entrance.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location in heart of Arrowtowns historic area. Just across road from river with walking and cycling trails. Good food available at hotel and lots of cafés and restaurants near-by. Bus from Queenstown goes right past.

Due to short staff, hotel opened at 12h00 . Ie. No breakfast available

Great location. Comfy bed and pillows. Good facilities (iron, hair dryer fridge, kettle, microwave). Lovely, helpful staff. 10% discount at bar and restaurant was a nice perk. Easy check in and check out.
Carpet could have done with a clean, as it was visibly dirty. Everything else was very clean though (bedding, towels, bathroom)

Nothing
The room was dirty and smelly. The staff were indifferent, bordering on rude. The TV didn’t work. Hot water appeared after running the tap for 5 minutes. The New Orleans Hotel has the potential to be really good however the current management don’t care less. Really disappointed with this hotel experience and obviously we would not recommend it to anyone unless they enjoy being treated like fools.

warm
Room 6. Dark. No light in closet area. No info on how to make tv work. a matter of good luck. Light in bathroom difficult for shaving

I like the place. the staff were great, location, clean rooms- great. but the noise👎
the room was extremely noisy. there was a noisy heat pump and some other machine that was whirring loudly intermittently.
8.0
Excellent location with free parking close by.
Some repairs were needed in the room (e.g. toilet roll holder). The tiny body wash and shampoo samples in the bathroom were about a quarter full and the face washer that was used under the cups was off-puttingly dirty. There was no place to hang any clothes.
