Home from home

I’ve stayed here over 20 times when working in the area. Great host, excellent rooms (especially No. 5), very good location for restaurants and promenade. First choice for me every time.

This is my regular place to stay when I visit South Shields. neve disappoints. Comfy single room with all the amenities and close to beach and shops.

Mr. Rez the owner of the guest house is a very welcoming person.The rooms are very well maintained and in excellent condition.You are provided with basic amenities like iron , hairdryer, heater in the room , smart tv with all the possible channels and excellent WiFi connection.Been staying here for 2 days and it feels like home. Anyone looking for temporary accommodation at South shields I would recommend this place which is at walkable distance from the south Shields metro station and the beach having plenty of multi cuisine restaurants nearby to choose from.

There wasn't anything to not like.

Lovely B & B, great place to stay.

Room was very modern, clean and comfortable. Close to beach, bars and restaurants. Lovely host, always asking if we needed anything. Couldn't have asked for a better place.

Immaculate Beechwood Guest House

Cannot fault this establishment. The proprietor goes the full length to make your stay enjoyable. Value for money is second to none.

Faultless. I've stayed here 5 times and would go nowhere else in Shields. I think that says it all.

Great place to stay

The room was fabulous immaculate and in a great position for everything the owner res couldn't be more attentive especially special touches in room I would recommend to anyone staying in South shields check this place out you certainly won't be dissapointed breakfast was scrumptious my grandson had a great time with me will definately return next time we stay in south shields

A great stay

Everything From arriving outside to being greated by the host who was lovely very welcoming, helped me with my bags. As soon as I entered it smelt lovely, and was really clean We got shown to our room and it was stunning, the cleanest place I've ever stayed in. We had a little welcome pack with some chocolates, plenty tea and coffee and water. The bed was so comfortable, the fridge was so beneficial when you have a young child. The bathroom was also clean, Towels shampoo body wash, toilet roll was all provided. There was also a fan in the bedroom as it was warm on the night but it was just because it had been a warm day. There was a big enough window so was no problems cooling the room down, it was so quiet all the time and very peaceful which is what you want when on holiday. We had breakfast twice and rez was very accommodating to our needs, the breakfast was lovely, couldn't fault it, my daughter ate for free. The bed and breakfast is very close to the beach and restaurants, plenty to do in South shields for a little break away. The cleaners deserve some credit too, I've never seen rooms so immaculate. Will definitely be returning Thanks again for a lovely stay

A really pleasant experience I would be glad to repeat.

Warm welcome to a comfortable room in an superb location. Room was scrupulously clean, bed comfortable, room well equipped, breakfast very generous, and host very welcoming and helpful. There is no guest lounge, but this wasn't something I needed; there are more than enough local attractions and amenities. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!

Perfect! Thank you - will definitely be staying again.

Everything!!! The owner was so lovely, accommodating and gave the personal touch. The room was small but had everything you could need or want. The location was perfect, close walk to the beach. Free street parking. 33 indian restaurants on one street - perfect! So many award winning restaurants to choose from. The breakfasts (extra cash payments) were the best!

The seagulls were very noisy during the night! But this can't be helped when staying on the coast. Other than that - this accommodation is absolutely perfect.

A very comfortable week long stay and I look forward to a return visit.

The location is excellent and the welcome warm. I had everything I could have possibly needed in my room to enable a very comfortable stay.

Comfortable and safe.

Comfortable room. Bed linens, towels were clean. Free wifi is fast. Breakfast is freshly prepared every morning. Lots of English, Indian and Italian restaurants across the road.

Would prefer to have a bidet hose in the toilet.

Excellent value, possibly one of the lowest priced B&Bs in the town, but probably one of the best.

The Accommodation was very clean, very comfortable, real good value for money and I would really recommend you have the breakfast. I was made very welcome and nothing was a problem. The breakfast was excellent and great value, the service excellent and very fast. The location perfect for me, near a lovely coastline and good beaches and lots of parks, plenty of restaurants, bars and the town centre minutes away. Very highly recommend.

beautiful bed and breakfast and far nicer than I expected

The host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was perfect with lots of options, kept me going until tea time. I particularly liked the little extras in the room such as an iron and hygiene items

Our perfect stay

The whole experience from walking through the door to leaving. Room is comfy with lots of extras including a box of chocolates. Breakfast was amazing and freshly cooked whilst we waited. Perfect location to bars, restaurants, shops and beach me we will definitely book here again.

That we could stay longer as we felt so at home. Nothing needs changing at all, it's perfect

Great value for money. Hospitable and friendly host.

The host was great, really friendly and helpful. The b&b was clean and the room clean & very cosy. Fresh chilled water in the fridge was a nice touch. The location is great too.

Only small thing id say could be improved is some softer pillows
