Wonderful experience with all details from the amazing view to all the facilities. The family running the place is so kind and helpful and Zakaria is such a great host. The place itself is so clean and tidy. We enjoyed it so much and will definitely come back.. This place is highly recommended!

Great family hotel. Wonderful hosts. Good breakfast with lake view. Location is only 20 om from umm qais and northern borders. Perfect for travelers who travel on north of jordan. Rooms are big with balcony and all you need to spent night.
4.5
Big spacious rooms with all you need. Very close to Umm Qais. Great view at lake. Wonderful family. Thanks you mr. Zekerijja

Very friendly and helpful owner. The room was very clean and the view amazing. And the dinner was delicous.

Zachariah is one of a kind. Generous and hospitable. A genuine man. We had problems with our car and he quickly found someone to help us out. I cannot recommend this place more.

Amazing host, beautiful location, best dinner we had in our whole holiday. Really relaxing and pleasant stay.
No problems at all.

The owner was very very hospitable. We were offered a family-style dinner which was a nice and cozy way to get to know the rest of the guests and the host. The breakfast in the morning with the view was fantastic.
A little too much nature for a person living in the suburbs. The dogs were barking through the night. The mules/donkeys were loud as well. The rooster started at 3 am. Except for the noise level, everything else was just perfect. I would recommend this as a beautiful place to overnight as long as you are prepared for an extra dose of nature.

We got the best room with the grand view of the reservoir and the surrounding mountains which we enjoyed tremendously!
Moreover, the owner invited us to his house, where we had interesting talks about lots of topics, among these about Islam, the Palastinian-Jordan- Israeli relation, about life in Jordan. We loved the Jordan breakfast and dinner, loved to meet his sons and the other guests while having tea.
The owner recommended us a way along the Israeli border on our way to the archeological site Umm Qais - an educating experience!
All in all, the 2 days we stayed passed much too quickly. We will not forget our stay, an authentic experience which we recommend!

Zaccaria and his son Hamza were son friendly, they spent the whole evening giving us information about Jordan culture. We have a wonderfull evening and the diner was delicious. Thanks for your frienship.

Zacharia, the owner, is really friendly and welcoming. We sat in his home, chatted, and he kindly offered us tea. The following morning, there was a lovely traditional Jordanian breakfast, and again, Zacharia was around, and I enjoyed another chat with him.
The room is huge, although fairly basic compared to several places I stayed whilst in Jordan.
I was offered an evening meal option.
Lovely view over the dam/reservoir.
Sadly, I slept very badly, as there are many wild dogs in the vicinity, and they barked loudly throughout the night. I didn't experience this problem in other rural locations in Jordan, despite there being lots of dogs everywhere I went.
It is not the fault of the owner, but it is worth mentioning for the benefit of future travellers.

It was a very nice stay with Zacharia in his house. we had a fantastic view to the little dam. The homemade dinner was delicious.

Zachariah made us feel welcome from the very start. The view of the wadi lake from our room was spectacular. The food was excellent - don't miss the chance to try the home cooking (which Zachariah served us in his own home). The surrounding area is beautiful - not just Um Quais, but also the Yarmouk Gorge road (try the first tea shop you come to) and Yarmouk reserve (short hike possible without guide).
4.5
Absolute beautiful place. Don't expect 5 star luxury room, but you don't need any if you'll see the view. All rooms are big and simple.
Own bathroom and good shower. Also the owner Zacharia is very welcoming and you can have a nice chat with him. He invited us into his house to drink some tea and talk about his live.
His wife made some delicious food as diner and also breakfast was perfect. Before we left we got some oranges out of his garden and he gave us a nice route to Umm Qais.
Soon there will be a new appartment building finished on this same location.

amazing views from the balcony, lovely staff.
a bit If a drive to umm qays but the route was stunning

Zacaria is a great host. I enjoyed sharing a delicious dinner with him and the other guests.
The room wasn’t very clean.

The room was huge and I had a great view of the dam.
The owner was very accommodating and chatty. It felt like I had known him for a long time.

On arrival we had a nice conversation with the owner while having tea. The room was large and comfortable.

the terrace were we had breakfast is really nice with a beautiful view toward the city. the staff was kind and friendly.
there was no shower box, just a curtin to protect the shower, so every time we took the shower the bathroom was flooded

Our room overlooked beautiful scenery with a view into Israel. We loved the remoteness of the location and the sheep farm next door was very entertaining!
The food both breakfast and dinner were excellent, we highly recommend paying extra for dinner and spending an evening talking to the other guests and host!
Be advised that being in a rural area there was a bit of noise from dogs up at night. We were able to rest but the barking was intermittent and there is nothing to be done.

Fancy an insightful long conversation with the owner? Then you're in a right place! Ours lasted 3 hours, with tasty tea, during Ramadan. :)
Its a geeat place, either, nice views over the lake, not far from the main road any many interesting sites.
The Ramadan dinned was excellent, so the breakfast.

The owner was super friendly and very accommodative. We had a nice view from the room on the lake, which is very nearby. We were also served nice local breakfast. As the hotel is located in the country side, there was quite a lot of dogs barking during the night.

The owner is a lovely man. Good location. Easy from highway 10 and near Um Qais.

I loved the group dinner in the dining room with all the other guests. Zachariah was extremely welcoming, couldn't have asked for a better host. The room was big and the shower was one of the best. The view from the terrace at breakfast was great.
The bed was a little too firm, but not a big deal.

Zaid likes to treat his guests as kings and queens. You have your own personal rooms and space, but it feels like you are a guest at his home. His wife is a great cook and Zaid loves to share stories around the dinner table. The terrace has a nice view over the Dam.
4.5
The hosts treat you like family and the view is excellent!

Spacy room with view on the dam. Nice talk with the host over tea. Umm Qais over the valley with great view on Sea of Galilee and large complex of roman ruins (included in Jordan Pass).
4.5
Had a great meal (pre-booked) followed by tea and conversation with Zachariah. Room was spacious and had a balcony with a view of the lake. 20 mins from Umm Qays, which is spectacular - all in all, had a great time!
4.5
Great quiet place with awesome lakeview from the terrace (You can see the village of Umm Qais in the distance). Very friendly and helpful hosts. Highly recommended!

We loved that the whole family made us feel very welcome. We had dinner together and shared many stories and thoughts. Would recommend this to anyone who wishes to get in touch with locals and learn about the Jordanian culture.
Dogs barking at night made it sometimes tough to sleep, so I suggest ear plugs.
