Couldn’t fault it! The bed was super comfortable, was spacious in all areas and the spa was incredible! Was a very short stroll to the markets and a nice walk to the lake. Loved the art work around the house.

very comfortable beds, warm, spa was great
bathroom ventilation isn’t great, so everything gets wet

It was beautiful and secluded. Felt like we were the only ones there most of the time.
Liked everything - only issue for us was the mattress was a little hard for our liking but we understand you can’t please everyone

We had a lovely stay, the rooms were exceptionally clean, the area was lovely and peaceful and the sculptures in the garden were fascinating. It was situated close enough to Daylesford to be convenient but far enough away to be away from the bustle.

Everything was fine. The interior, the location and the garden were great.
The kitchen was not very well equipped: some handy and important items were missing, such as: an electric kettle, a dish cloth and/or dish sponge, pot holders, cups and sauces - there was only one mug and glasses and we had to use them for our tea and coffee. There was no cleaning cloth, no facial tissues

Love the fact that the accommodation had old charm to it rather than modern feel. Hottub was ready for us to get into as soon as we arrived.
Other accommodation were very close to each other, didn't have a complete privacy

The rustic vibe and the real artist flare! Quirky and quaint! It was a unique cottage which we will be back again to stay !
We couldn't light the stove. No Matches and pilot light didn't work

We enjoyed the quirkiness of the art and gardens , the bed was very comfortable.
Email from owner was great as we had never visited the area , recommend the walk to Lake Daylesford and cidery
Been woken up by the local kookaburras, was really hoping for a sleep in 🤣

Secluded, so relaxing, quirky, warm and comfortable. A real retreat with an excellent location. The spa was turned on ready for us, very welcoming. Lots of excellent artworks/sculptures. We have already recommended it to friends.
The step down from one bedroom was very off putting. The location of the lights switches….interesting!

the property was in a beautiful setting and the hot tub was fabulous
the property was not accessible for us. the photos advertising failed to show the spiral staircase to the bedroom which had no ensuite. My partner is waiting in a hip replacement so it was extremely difficult for him to get up and down. The steps to the unit were also not accessible.

nice spot
not allowed to use the fire place, dust and cobwebs everywhere, windows were filthy, hot tub was so dirty there was scum in the water, no music or tv downstairs, advertised as having a out door bath … which was not there … very very disappointed

the location
beds were uncomfortable, cleaners didn’t clean spiderwebs around doorways and curtaining. we were asked to make sure that all dishes were to be cleaned prior to leaving but no detergent was supplied?

The property was beautiful - 15 minute walk to Daylesford Centre but isolated enough to feel secluded and like a nature retreat. The owners gave great advice about a lovely Creek trail to walk to Daylesford Lake. A little piece of paradise

Comfy beds, hot spa, beautiful gardens, everything supplied.
Nothing, we loved it!

The art and vibe and walkable distance to town
The photos gave a different perception of the place. For almost $300 a night it seemed a lot dingier than advertised - the living room was not for two people to enjoy. Joint photos of the entire property and other accommodation on the residence made it difficult to know what we were booking. Therefore we were expecting something more than what we paid for. But in saying that, it was cosy. Just think that the advertising should be clearer.

Cute little cottage. Quite comfortable as long as you can manage stairs. A bit cold, but we were there in the middle of winter and unfortunately hot air rises. So cool downstairs and hot upstairs. Enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and a very pretty spot!
Would have liked the choice of a downstairs room but that was locked. Otherwise it was lovely

Overall, very enjoyable. Very clean, and well equipped. Felt very cosy and comfortable. Very close to the heart of Daylesford. Beds were really comfortable
Didn't realise how close the other property was to ours. Thought the locked door off the dinning room was a locked maintenance rm, not a door to a bedroom of our neighbour

The location is great, nice and peaceful, away from busy roads. The spa is great being outside to relax under the stars. I like that the keys were left in a safe box and we didn't need to rush to check in by a certain time or have to call anyone on arrival. 11am checkout is perfect too.
Would we stay again, Yes we would!
I would have liked extra outdoor towels, as after using them on night one, it wasn't hot enough for them to dry outside and no dryer.
Nothing that we didn't like. Maybe a suggestion, we are not alcohol drinkers, so many a few complementary bottles of water would have been nice instead of wine. The spa gets quite warm and we didn't have any water to drink with us. But just an idea x

Loved the email from the owners with arrival information and sharing places and sites of interest around town. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hot tub was perfect for the chilly afternoon. First impressions were charming, quirky, eclectic and confusing. I thought I would like to bring my husband and friends back to stay but; no that won't be happening and that disappoints me because there is a lot of untapped potential at this accommodation.
I booked the 2 bedroom studio but was informed I could use only 1 bedroom; lucky my daughter and I don't mind sharing. Getting foot caught in the torn chicken wire on the entry ramp and tripping only to be greeted with a used tissue laying on the deck. (Repaired the wire, no more trips.) Outdoor setting was dirty and dishevelled. Entering the studio there was a weird smell; we think it is the water. The couch had dirt/crumbs over and under the cushions. The kitchen bench and cooker were smeared with dirty grime. You could write your name in the dust and hang xmas decals in the cobwebs. Ended up buying our own paper plates and plastic cups to use and used the bed for seating. I didn't want to touch, use or sit on anything. Some of the lights did not work. And, the mystery of the vanishing complimentary chocolates; at separate times a chocolate would vanish (3 out of the 4). Possum, mouse or ghost with a sweet tooth! I respect the later checkin time because of 'Covid' cleaning but this was just not clean; and no care in presentation.

Perfect relaxation spot. Oh the serenity! I am truly devastated to leave. Great hosts who were easy to contact and more than helpful. And the bed is sooooooo comfy. 🥳🥳 location is a quick pop up to the shops. All is good.
