Great experience with locals

We were welcomed very kindly at the lodge, it s very peaceful and quiet. The diner was local and excellent. Very nice place

The rooms are a bit old style with wooden bed and cupboards but it s part of the rustic charm of the place. It was very comfortable though.

Very nice place, cosy & close to the park entrance. Owners & personnel very kind and helpful.

Breakfast was very good. Large healthy choice offered as well as eggs. Many sorts of tea. Dinner was of a good quality, tasty and more than enough to eat! Location is just perfect.

Suggestion: start breakfast at 7:30 instead of 8:00 for people willing to get the boat at 8:30am.

Très agréable et relaxant après une journée de marche dans le parc.

Très proche de l’accès au parc, 1km environ donc pas besoin de prendre la voiture. Établissement récent situé à la lisière d’un bois , décoration « montagne » Propriétaires charmants et disponibles.

Pas d’internet dans les chambres.

One of our fondest places we stayed in on our trip. And our favorite meal (grilled trout)

The lodge was nestled in a nice woody location very near the Plitvice Park. We were able to walk down to Entrance 1 via a 10 minute trail from the lodge. The dinner we had was delicious and the man who ran the place was so nice and friendly.

Great find

B&B Plitvica Lodge was a great little find. Its located about 300m to the entrance of the lakes - and possibly the best entrance too. The lodge rooms were large and very secure. The outdoor meals area is beautiful, cosy and welcoming. After a long days hike it was nice to be welcomed back with a beer and beautiful (big) meal, looking out over the forested area.

Two days in B&B lodge

Carlo and his wife are amaising ! The kind of people you wish to meet. They are welcoming and take care of theirs guests. The place is ideally located, few minutes walk from the national park entrance.

Didn't like that the booking website showed it as "breakfast included", and only after booking we got an email later on that said (hidden among million other details) that the breakfast is for additional payment.

A great stay marred by incident of misconduct by host.

Great location near entrance to park.

I handled it directly with the host Karlo and he acknowledged his misconduct of having behaved inappropriately with me during my stay. This marred what would have been a lovely stay at the lodge. I reported the incident to Booking's customer service who has, to date, been unable to provide a conclusive response on their action in this matter, despite posting on their website about placing importance on addressing misconduct. As Booking is unable to assist, I decided to include the incident in this review.

One of the best B&Bs I've stayed at

The host is one of the best hosts I've met. He gave us good information, and went above and beyond to help us and make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Bathroom/Shower could use a bit updatimg but ot wasnt that bad.

Lovely place to relax and take in Northern Croatia’s beautiful mountains and villages.

the surrounding beauty and proximity to the entrance #3 of the park were ideal. Very quiet and peaceful. The hosts were lovely and served nice home cooked meals (breakfast and dinner). Dinner started with Slivovitz (homemade pear brandy) and prosciutto and cheese with amazing homemade grilled bread (very much like naan).

Loved it all - even the spotty internet given the remote location.

The employee was very nice and welcoming. Flexibility and open to help. Very good location. Free parking. The room was big and clean.

The smell of meat coming in the room early in the morning. The mattress was not very confortable. The food was a little bit expensive for the quality

A truly delightful place to stay!

A fantastic place to stay, with easy access to the park through a little known third entrance that is a 2 minute walk from the lodge. The rooms were very nice, and the patios/balconies were spacious. If you stay here, you must take advantage of the dinner that is cooked out in the back courtyard - fantastic, homemade food! They also have beer and wine. The breakfast buffet is huge - definitely something for everyone. We would absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic stay, would recommend to everyone!

Fantastic staff, so lovely and a truly authentic experience. Would recommend to anyone. Close to the park entrance for those wanting to hike, and the owners will hook you up with a great coke platter breakfast and coffee and great authentic food for dinner!

A great place with great food and great people

We loved everything, we came here only one night last month, and the welcoming was great. With Max the dog 🙃 and the other one wonderful as well. Thanks for the diner too, we ate with my boyfriend and we were served with the shooters everytime 😂 the place is wonderful , in the park, and it was so relaxing. We didn’t had chance as the weather wasn’t great, but the place is still nice. As we told you, hope we’ll be back another time with our family. Thanks again, we appreciated

Perfect location and wonderful hosts! You should definitely have dinner with everyone who is sleeping at the lodge. We enjoyed the schnaps :p really close to entrance 3 of the park. We already miss Bingo and Max!

Friendly host - you will get main directions, advice and points to see on arrival. Host created warm and welcoming atmosphere: at this place you should relax, enjoy and don't care! Wonderful location. You are in 10 min walk from the P3 point of Plitvica. With strong aspiration you can get into park for free, but on your own risk ;) Dinner was delicious, you will be welcomed homemade food: aivar, schnaps, grill and traditional Croatian cuisine.

Take into account, that dinner can be a bit expensive, although you will not regret this. In early June the weather at night can be pretty cold (~5-7C), and open terrace is not an option to stay. But rooms are still warm. Unfortunately rooms are not equipped with electrical kettle. Room was without promised landscape view from terrace, so clarify details about view you prefer, because there are rooms with the view on the inner garden and trees. Description of the room with terrace doesn't match the reality: some rooms are with the inner garden view, and such photos are not present in the description. Also internet connection is terrible via wifi and via cell-phone connection.

Excellent stay, highly recommend

Very nice room and facilities , very clean. Host very kind and park at few mins away ( very nice nature views ). Property has barbecue , bar , restaurant ( we had dinner and breakfast and both were very good ) . Very good option to visit the park , road to property is a bit longer but it's worth the few minutes more , the property is spectacular and largely better than most hotels in the area.

Excellent accommodation. Very nice, kind, and hospitable host, great location right in the park, quiet place. The room was beautiful, spacious, and clean. There was never a lack of heat or hot water. I definitely recommend it.
