We liked everything about Residenze Gregoriane. The staff helped us park, walked up with our bags then immediately sat us in an exquisite 16th century mosaiced courtyard with a fountain, bringing us coffee and cold water (rum or whisky was also offered!) while they sorted out our admin and talked us through the map of this gorgeous little town, giving us lots of useful information. We had chosen the Superior suite partly for its decor which was as stunning as I had hoped: I knew that unlike most of the others it didn’t have an outside space and overlook the water but I loved our pretty town view. Comfortable bed, fluffy towels, plenty of hot water and enough space for our weekend wardrobes. Remarkably quiet given its central location (five minutes walk from Villa d’Este). Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious with a good selection of pastries, toast, muesli, yogurt, boiled eggs, fresh o-j etc with other options available if you let them know the night before. We didn’t get a chance to use the stunning spa area but other guests warmly recommended it and each guest/couple/family can book it for their exclusive use. The staff were always around and keen to welcome us back each time. We didn’t expect beforehand that we’d return to Tivoli but we would now love to, largely based on our experience at this delightful hostelry. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed everything

Everything about this place is wonderful. The building is beautiful, the room was enormous, warm, and atmospheric. The room had a working historic foosball that the owner encouraged us to use, and that we had a lot of fun with. The swimming pool is amazing, we enjoyed the calm and privacy. Fantastic breakfast. The manager also made a reservation for us at the nearby restaurant Sibilla, which I'd recommend you to go to. A wedding anniversary we will not forget.

The place was a lovely historic residence converted into a four room hotel. It’s right next to the river and a short walk from cafes and restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we got breakfast, assisting with luggage, explaining the history of the place, and just generally always there for us. Make sure you check out the underground heated pool as well.

The hospitality of the staff, Phillipo and the owner whom we saw the most but really EVERYONE on staff; the breakfasts, the elegance and decor in our suite, the staff recommendations. Enjoyed the spa a lot as well. Great location for walking everywhere.
It is not easy to find BUT do stay here anyway. You will love it.

the property is truly beautiful and steeped in history. the courtyard is very special and a great place to have breakfast. the staff can not do enough for you, they are absolutely lovely in every way and go out of there way to make sure you have everything you need. breakfast is great with fresh fruit, breads and pastries as well as fresh orange and lovely coffee. meat and cheese with toast. the location is perfect as you can walk to every part of Tivoli within 10 minutes. the suits are large with lots of room as you would expect from a hotel of this quality. they have a pool which we didn’t use as we didn’t have time as we only stayed two nights. there is so much to see locally and the restaurant they recommended was just fantastic.
my only feedback would be to fix the tarpaulin outside the bedroom as it gets windy at night because it’s so high up. the noise of the tarpaulin can wake you up. I’m sure this can be fixed for the next guests. the rooms are air conditioned and lovely and cool at night. the shower is great too.

From start to finish we were made to feel welcome. They emphasize individual treatment so it felt like we were the only guests. Philippe, Giovanni and Elisa were very helpful and willing to assist with any request. What a treat to stay here.

Really lovely accommodation in Tivoli- Our room was large with a private terrace which was a nice place to relax. We used the small pool which was warm and clean. Breakfast were great with plenty of choice. The best thing about staying here was the really helpful support from Fillipo, he gave really good restaurant recommendations an also booked these for us, and also helped by booking a taxi to Villa Adriana. When we went there was a local festival and we were escorted to a point where we could look at it which we really appreciated. We also were helped to leave luggage so we could enjoy a full last day in Tivoli as we had a late flight. Tivoli is a wonderful place to stay with a good sense of community. Staying at Residenze Gregoriane really enhanced our visit.

The place is an old palace that was renovated in the spirit of the original. Staff were excellent, explaining everything. The apartment was big and very nice decorated. Breakfast was served in a very elegant setting and it was fresh and tasty.
Nothing. Everything was great!!! (only the water was not warm enough)

the breakfast was great, very nice, polite staff, warm nice environment .
We also liked the bathroom design and the size
The room was warm , what was very important winter season.
The courtyard is amazing , all decorated like in the ancient days (original).
I also liked the interior swimming pool ,despite we didn t use it.
the quality of the bedroom should be improved, not bad ,but considering the price...
The reception should be covered on winter time. The day we arrived was cold and freezing and the entrance goes directly to a courtyard then you cross the patio and you arrive to the bedroom.
The swimming pool was great, but the problem is on winter time . It s impossible to use it because the access is through the patio ,so the water is hot and when you get out and you cross the patio you ll get a cold for sure.
Those are issues to correct on winter time , but the experience was nice in general

Everything is to like! The staff were professional and knowledgable and gave us a tour of the residence and provided information on the surrounding areas - where to eat and what to see. It was clear the staff loved the building and the area. Breakfast was excellent - the table setting was elegant - the most beautiful on all our trip.
WE LOVED EVERYTHING!

Everything is perfect! This is by far our favorite hotel, The host and owner Gianninio made us feel valued and was warm and inviting, the manager, Giovanni is flawless and wonderful and such a superb host Phillipe the nephew is fabulous and helped us in so many ways, the other Phillipe was also wonderful!! Katia , Phillipe, the owner and manager served us breakfast and and the service was superb! The suite is out of a fairy tale with items from Roman times and we swam in a Roman Bath located on the bottom level of the property - simply amazing.
