Stunning view especially sunset. Peaceful. The owner was very generous and accommodating. Treating us to sunbeds and dinner.
No aircon in master bedroom. The walk up the stairs at the end. Good for keeping fit.

Everything. Greek hospitality far exceeds nearly everywhere I've been before: From Manolis the host meeting us at the port and getting us a boat taxi to the apartment to the wonderful hosts at the local Four Seasons club who treat you like an old friend. There was wonderful food that was put in the fridge while we found our feet, a welcome meal at the four seasons, fast internet, and of course the port of Hydra itself was wonderful. We left wanting to come back, and we are very grateful for the wonderful experience.
The port of Hydra, which is where majority of restaurants / evening bars are, is a ~45 minute walk away. The walk is beautiful, a gorgeous coastal path, but it is quite a distance over different surfaces. If there is anyone who struggles to get about, this could be really hard for them. There are boat taxis at €10 for a return trip, but these stop at 11pm, so if you stay in the port later than this, then get prepared for a walk!
Would also say, being in a quiet area, pretty much in the desert/hills, we saw large hairy caterpillars, the largest garden spiders I've ever seen, and the odd cockroach. This is ultimately part of rural, island life, but important in case anyone has a phobia of these things.

stunning views and plenty of space for a family and outdoor area beautiful. Manolis was very welcoming and looked after us extremely well.
The property is quite a climb from the beach area and quite steep which was very difficult for my husband who was unable to manage this. Manolis was extremely helpful and helped us to relocate closer to the beach area without the climb.

Beautiful place. I loved the surroundings and the peaceful atmosphere. The host Manolis was very welcoming and made my stay wonderful.
The house was clean and spacious. There’s a beautiful garden with an outdoor shower.
The view is great and you have a nice beach just some meters down the road.
This is really a hidden gem and I had a lovely time.
I would love to come back.
I like everything.

Very quiet location with stunning views of the gulf of Hydra, although not easily accessible for people with disabilities.
A big compliment to the host Manolis.

We had a great time and we would like to come back and stay at least ten days. Mr Manolis was very helpful from booking until the end, he organised the sea taxi trip to the villa, prepared a welcome basket (wine, water, fruits, coffee, honey, butter etc), helped us with bottled water and made us some great reccomendations. The villa was great for a couple, very clean, olive orchard, porch, garden shower, amazing view, close to the beach, perfect for a relaxing holiday. A true gem for those who need peace and quiet and enjoy what all Hydra has to offer.
Poor wireless signal from time to time
