sehr sauber, gut in Natur eingebaut

Einfach alles.

Good and served as ordered
The lunch was "very light" in comparison to the long game drive up to dinner . even the goodies at the halfway stop was as counted to the number of guests . The guys suffered !

beautiful place, friendly stuff, super tasty food
you need to be okay with nature. could be bit colder during night or you can deal with bugs/spiders

Great service and meals.
I suggest providing the guests with a list of animals for the game drives. Like a checklist.

Our stay was made memorable. We had a great time. Thanks to our guide Rob who did a great job. He has the potential to become the next David Attenborough 😊

Amazing safari drives with our guide Kristen, beautiful location, tasty meals. Incredible value for money. The view from the tent was idyllic but they also felt luxurious, heated blankets, hot running water!!!

Comfortable tented accommodation with pleasant view from balcony. Overall nice facility with very good staff, and decent animal viewing. Knowledgeable guides.
Generally easy to access, but the "road" for the last 100 m or so to the camp parking area is fairly rough and needs to driven very carefully if arriving by car.

We really loved our stay in the camp! Everything was simply perfect. Everyone was extremly friendly and helpful and of course the game drives were the highlights of our stays. Thanks you our guide Don we were able to see a lot of animals from close up - with the litter of lions and the "encounter" of giraffs with cheetah but always with a respectful distance not to disturbe the animals. The view from the tent was also wonderful - with the sunrises as the absolute highlight.
It would be great to add one or two more sun sails/umbrellas to the pools :)

It was awsome!

Fabulous base for a Safari trip in the Eastern Cape. Comfortable tent, attentive staff, excellent food and stunning views across the landscape.
Compared to other safaris, we saw less wildlife on game drives than we'd hoped. Partly due to a less experienced ranger, partly due to lower density wildlife population than other areas

Perfect organized program: Morning and afternoon safaris with lovely guides (Sheamus was fantastic). You can experience a really wide range of animals (we saw lions, rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetas, giraffes, elefants, etc. --> in only 1 night!). In between 3 meals incl. drinks (during the whole day). Very relaxed atmosphere and 2 fantastic pool areas. Everything very well maintained and thought out. The value for money experience is unbeatable for a safari - always happy to return!
Unfortunately, the tents are a bit hot during the day - this is only a luxury problem, as you can cool down in the pools. Slightly more animals in the reserve would be great.

We had an absolutely amazing time and saw all the animals we wanted to see. Great experience overall. The views, the sounds of nature and the shower were our favourite.
The food could have been better. For what you pay, we were expecting better quality. A lot of the food was overcooked. I would also suggest umbrellas for the deck and pool area as we had a 40 degree day of full heat and sun.

Was just truly nice. The perfect quiet get away
Eating facilities all guests on one table. I did not enjoy the feeling of having to sit and eat my food as if I was in boarding school. Food was not quite as I've experienced at other lodges, it was ok.

Everything was amazing - The tents, the welcome, the drives! Our ranger Lenny was super dedicated to the finding the animals we wanted to see. The rest of the staff was also very friendly.
The only thing that could be improved is the vegetarion meal options.

Everything was perfect!! What a great place and the value for money is very good (especially comparing to other safaris). Staff is incredibly attentive, well organised and friendly. We felt at home immediately. Rob, our ranger was wonderful and made our time here special - he made us understand that it's not all about the big 5 but showed us so many other amazing animals and plants (even though we did manage to see the big 5). His knowledge is incredible. Every night another ranger had dinner with the group which was also really lovely. We had the best two days!
Everything was great

Well run resort with lovely swimming pools and two times a day game rides.
Diner was OK. Would have liked some choice and / or a salade bar.

The ambiance, the location, the scenery, the delicious and generous food and beverages, the relaxed but professional friendliness of all staff, the swimming pools, the common lounge and dining areas, the fire area, and of course the incredible game drives...
Seamus was simply wonderful as our game driver - so friendly, humorous, knowledgeable in an approachable way and as excited about sightings as any of us on his vehicle 😀 ...
We booked for friends from Germany as well and they loved the experience, comparing it very favourably to any other game reserve experience they've had in South Africa. They said they'll be back next visit 😀!
A few minor points because of course Woodbury Tented Camp prices are extremely competitive for the package offered - and we're very happy we booked there!
The noise from traffic on the N2 at night was a pity.
Maybe time for a few maintenance updates like woodwork-care.

We loved the Woodbury tented camp - you have anything you need and more. More like glaming, it was amazing and so well designed. The food - so delicios. The staff - so welcoming and friendly. Our guide for the game drives was Nico - he was so amazing. He has got a lot of knowlage and thanks to him we saw everything we could have seen, a big thank you to him and to all of the staff at Woodbury tented camp. We’ve had the best experience anyone could have had. THANK YOU
