Great view, but comfort in Appartement not sufficient

Villa mare Is a great place because there is a splendid view over the sea and the sunsets are magnificent.

The property has changed hands and they should do some work on the individual appartements. I came for the fourth time. This time the fridge didn‘t work properly, they didn‘t do anything about it. Several essential things in the kitchen were missing, bottle opener, tin opener. Contact was difficult to the office. The spot is so brilliant , it is such a pity that they don‘t do more work on the appartements.

The location was excellent!!! The water pressure from the shower was great and plenty of hot water for all four of us to shower. Very clean apartment, and just the perfect size for a family of four. The double bed was comfortable for my husband and I.

I disliked the sofa bed. I like my older kids to have a real bed

Great view but not great price value ratio

It is worth it to spend a little bit more money to be at the beachfront. Especially the sunsets are incredible :)

For us was it hard to understand of their priorities of utilities. For example no hand soap ( its still covid time !!!), only one roll of toilet paper (4 nights 3 people) and in the kitchen no basic cooking essentials ( like oil, vinegar, salt or pepper). Some of them were quite unexpected so please prepare for that.

Not bad but nothing special

The sea view is nice. Beautiful sunset.

Big windows is nice, but they were really dirty. Not any piece of interior decor to feel romantic in such a place. Very superficial and inaccurate finishing of the apartment. Windows through visible from outside so you miss privacy as many people go around. Check out at a.m. 9.30-10.00 could be too early. Also would not recommend the restaurant outside - very expensive, good location but careless service. As I have been in many places on Elba, I can say - the most beautiful views are free of charge all over the island and much more marvelous hotels/apartments with a personal touch cost the same or even less. Be prepared, the beach in this village is all over stone. Hard to sunbathe and get in the sea.

Fantastic location overlooking the sea. Large terrace area. Walking distance to village centre. Good value for money.

The appartment is super basic, too expensive for what it is. But wonderful location on the sea

Location is amazing

The flat is very basic for the price. Nothing was in the flat, no cleaning liquids, salt pepper, oil... no basic amenities. No love! Terrace was not with a sea view as the description makes you believe, but on a little road. Although the sofa bed was available there were no sheets for it. Have to pick up the keys and sign in in Portoferraio which is an hour drive from the flat.

Front see view nice place

Place is fantastic, panoramic see view ,first line, directly on the wild beach! Water quality is super, clean and beautiful. Everything was comfortable, even Restaurant was in the house.the dinner with Sunset is beautiful there.

Would be nice to refresh the apartment. Was clean but sufficiently used...
