Maravillosa estancia

El apartamento era precioso, te sentías como si estuvieras dentro de un antiguo castillo. Todo estaba limpio y reluciente, no faltaba un detalle. Antonio fue muy atento y nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos, además de proveernos gratis de una plaza de parking justo al lado.

Exceptional

An oasis on a hill for my pareja and I. Ancient fruit trees providing lots of welcoming shade with lots of other amazing garden plants and shrubs. The cooling pool with relaxing loungers and parasols were just perfect. In a little shady corner the apartment was tranquil and cool, even when temperatures were 40C outside. The silent ceiling fans providing comfort with no need for air conditioning which was there if required. The apartment provided every facility you could need.The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely come again and after this comment I hope there is room for us in the future. Spanish Alan.

Medina-Sidonia is a beautiful place.

The Suite we had was really large. It had a small kitchenette, comfortable sofa, table and 4 chairs and a Kingsize bed. All fixtures and fittings were very good quality and the soft furnishings a well. The bathroom was modern and clean.

We couldn’t get any hot water out of the shower or the taps. Even after leaving them to run for 5 minutes the water was still cool. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. The room was very light at night as there was no curtain covering the large doorway or the small window. What made it worse was there is an outside light, right outside the window which is on all night. The restaurant is closed (for refurbishment I think) it doesn’t say that in the advert nor on the information in the accommodation. We were a bit disappointed as that as one of the reason for choosing this accommodation

We had two nights in a great day in Medina Sidonia. Enjoyed our stay very much. View from the restaurant was amazing.

Great location at the top of the town, near the beautiful church. A couple of small pools and lovely garden

Disappointed

Lovely apartment, very clean. Comfy bed.

On the booking it said that our apartment had a private balcony. It didn't. The owners and I had been in contact prior to our arrival with detailed instructions including 2 videos about arrival, entry to the property, and parking information on whatsapp. When I messaged and phoned them to check if we were in the correct room there was no response. Very disappointed. Had I known that Room 7 didn't have a private balcony I definitely would not have booked it. Feels like we were mis sold the accomodation. Also, we were looking forward to dining at the beautiful restaurant, but it didn't appear to be open during our 4 night stay in July.

Wonderful view but needs new beds

Wonderful view, quiet apartments, kitchen has all necessary amenities. Definitely try their restaurant for the sunset and ask to be served by Santiago.

The mattress needs urgent replacement. There were many small ants in the bathroom. Rooms were not cleaned every day and on the last day we have been woken up by staff 2 hours before check-out time.

Delightful stay though hope the restaurant improves.

Garden is enchanting. Pretty geranium plants around the pool. Room is very clean and comfortable Although arrived early was warmly welcomed by owner. Cleaner works very hard and is friendly.

Thought perhaps the garden could do with some tidying up and pruning Full plum tree casting its fruit in abundance is blocking light into upstairs rooms and slippery underfoot. Was disappointed in dinner menu choice - surprised to see hamburgers for example, we'd eaten here three times before and recall it being more sophisticated. (perhaps COVID related? having to let staff go?)

Beautiful and tranquil place to unwind

It's an oasis of beauty and tranquility. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. This was our 3rd visit, looking forward to the next one 😊

For an addicted traveller like me a must do

This place is simply sublime, perfect location, I have rarely been entertained so well. The food was different, exciting and beautifully served, accompanied by wines that considerable time and effort were gone to sourcing. all finished off with an orange-infused Pedro Jimenez back to the diet tomorrow!! This is definitely a 2-night stay, to see all the recommended sites you would need 2 full days, for example, the church 40 meters away has roman engraved stones from the time of Flavius at the main door, remnants of the Mosque that preceded the church and extraordinary examples of Christian era artifacts. just behind the church are the paths to the old castle = half a day and a rest/drink/swim needed at our age!!

In truth almost nothing, you should be aware that the roads in the village are very steep. It felt like 1 in 3 down to the square and definitely near-vertical returning from dinner in the square ( good but not a patch on the restaurant)

A very nice apartment in a wonderful location

Location was brilliant. The apartment had everything we needed and even had free parking as a bonus. The pool and outside area was appreciated. The area that the property was located in was also very quiet and seemed safe.

The batteries of the tv remote control were dead so it did not work, meaning that we had to change channels and switch the tv on and off the old way. OK for a day but probably annoying if the stay is longer. The shower sliding door had seen better days and needed some seeing to.

Lovely views for a nice getaway from the city or typical and turistic places, we recommended!

The location and views are awesome! We really enjoy a nice holidays in Medina Sidonia, and i also recommend the restaurant (nice Arab/Spanish fusion menus)

Wonderful!

The location is amazing and well worth the trip to Medina Sidonia. The views are breathtaking. At night time it is truly romantic the room overlooked two small perfectly formed pools which had subdued lighting along with an abundance of flora and fauna perfect. The history surrounding this area is remarkable with Roman ruins and historic buildings at every turning from street to street. It is a must for anyone wanting to experience real Spain but with all the comforts you desire.

I can't in all honesty, say we have not liked something about our stay. Even when it rained on one of the days and the winds got quite blustery, it was still beautiful and fresh and when it blew over the sun came out to greet us and coax us out for tapas and a drink in the main square, Sorry but we cannot moan however hard we try.
