A wonderful and great value for money stay. Clean, friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic reception when we arrived. Kind and informative and very welcoming. Comfortable facilities in the room and very clean.

The sound proofing wasn't great so unfortunately, with noisy neighbours, we had one disturbed night.

Great quality apartment with best location and affordability.

Location, efficiency, affordability.

Check-in agent guy was very disorganized and rude during our stay. All due check-in documents were submitted prior to arrival but he was taking literally 20 mins for the real check-in punching in every detail again and again. He messed up tourist tax requesting payments. Very disorganized and bothersome.

Espectacular alojamiento y muy centrico

La limpieza estuvo muy bien, la ubicación muy centrica, la amplitud del piso, facilidades para recoger las llaves, relacion calidad precio buena. La recomendación del parking cercano esta muy bien y muy economico, 11 euros las noche, pero al ser en un centro comercial, desde la 1:00 hasta las 8:00 esta cerrado el parking.

Lo unico malo es que la habitacion que tiene ventanas da a un patio interior con muchas maquinas de aire acondicionado y extractores que generan mucho ruido por la noche.

Great location and hosts!

It was a really pleasant stay in Opo Bolhao! Room has everything you need for a stay and it cozy, host are really really nice and helpful and it very easy to check in. The location is great!

The room is an average size of a hotel room but could be redecorated in more useful way.

beautiful and spacious in a great location.

the apartment is a beautiful mix of old and new /modern facility. the open concept of the living space/dining makes the room look really big and cozy. it’s also clean and kitchen complete with all the gadgets you need. it’s in a great location right by the Bolhao market and the grocery is right beside it. the reception is actually the souvenir store beside.

nothing we didn’t like. everything was great. it’s our favorite place that we stayed in Portugal.

Exceptional

Super nice, location was brilliant and staff very helpful. Porto is wonderful and this Hotel was perfect. Right around the corner from market(exceptionally clean) and shops are just one block over. Stay at this Hotel and you won't be disappointed. Driver was arranged to get to airport. This was an easy stay because the staff are well organized. Big thank you to the staff. Hope to see ou again in the future.

Well located and comfortable property

The check in process was great. There is a 24 hr reception desk although we were mid afternoon check in. The young lady on the desk Ligia gave us very helpful suggestions on what to see and what was around the location. Plus she marked it all out on a map we used every day! We also received great help from juanita ( we think) with advice as well.. The room was well set out although a chest of drawers would be helpful. The biggest negative is that our room faced the market and a busy road. It quietened down overnight but was still audible when a car went by. Get rooms A and B if you can. The location is very good and the apartment and staff are very good too.

It was noisy after 6 or 7 am as the city traffic increased.

Very large room with friendly staff

Room was quite large. Multiple bathrooms and lots of room to spread out. Was easy to get keys. Staff was friendly and freely offered tips. Was easy to securely store bags during the day as well. Great location right across from the Balhao market. Liked that there was a lift up to the rooms.

Bathroom was a little funky in terms of layout, particularly the shower area.

Superb apartment with a lot of character

The reception staff was excellent. Helpful, friendly and fast. The apartment had character and was lovely, very spacious and with loads of details to make it a comfortable stay. The location was truly convenient.

No parking or indications, however it was easy and cheap yo park nearby. The apartment was a bit noisy, cars could be heard until late at night and from early morning, despite closing the shutters, better insulation would've been great. The bathroom was fine, but could be better.

Fantastic and well refurbished property with extremely welcoming staff!

From the minute we entered the property, we felt totally welcome. We were provided lots of advice and ideas for our stay in Porto. At the reception, everyone was extremely helpful and even offered to book some restaurants for us, if we had any problems. The property and building was beautiful with lovely traditional features and the location was really good. I would with no hesitation return to YOUROPO - Bolhao.

We very much enjoyed our stay. No comments.

the rooms were a little cold even with the heater because the shutters don't close completely but this is only an issue if it is very cold outside.

Well-appointed apartment in a great location!

This property is wonderful -- a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath, enormous dining and living room, full kitchen (complete w/ a washer/dryer) that would make an excellent base for anyone wanting to stay a few nights or longer. We stayed here as a couple, but this accommodation would also work well for a family with young children -- enormous bedrooms with plenty of storage space. We only used the TV in the living room, but I think there was one in each bedroom. (Didn't need the a/c.) Plenty of towels provided, and the linens were in great shape. (Good water pressure in the small shower.) The apartment was spotless and there was a really nice scent diffuser in the bathroom. Our apartment was located on the 2nd floor (floor 1 in Europe) and there were options for both the elevator or the stairs. (Do try the elevator upon check-in -- it's a delight, just as the reviews mention!) We picked up some takeaway food from nearby Pedro dos Frangos for dinner (mouth-wateringly delicious chicken) and we dined out at an excellent steak house just a block away (Vaccarum), highly recommend both. Because we were only there two nights, we had breakfast in a cafe, located just 2 blocks from the property (Santa Caterina). We spent a lot of our day walking, sightseeing and shopping. From Gaia, it took us about 25 minutes or to walk back to the property (if memory serves -- it wasn't a long, strenuous walk, tho parts of Porto are quite hilly.) The Metro station is a block away, but there is also a really convenient taxi plaza just down the block. Lastly, and this was one of the best parts -- the staff on site was always wonderful, attentive and generous with information. Checking in and out was simple, and it was always interesting to talk to the friendly people here. (There's also a really nice souvenir shop in the lobby of the building -- they offer unique items compared to what might be found in regular souvenir shops.) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
