Everything was wonderful. The apartment was immaculate and really lovely. The host was very friendly and helpful.

The most beautiful place in BASTIA !!! Well situated in historical center!

Great atmosphere, perfect location. Easy to close the windows for street noise if there is any. Comfy bed, roomy bathroom, laundry facilities available. Bedroom is easily kept cool with the very silent air conditioner.

Three floors and no elevator, if I have to mention something.

The town of Bastia relaxed and friendly. The island of Corsica, beautiful scenery from the coastline to the mountains. Good food and local shops. Be aware of French opening and closing times. Expect to pay a premium to eat by the sea/harbour’s

Large apartment beautifully renovated in a style to match the historic house. Helpful host. Free parking in underground space beneath the market square arranged by host. Excellent location in centre with everything within reach -choice of restaurants, Monoprix supermarket etc.

Third floor apartment with very steep and uneven stairs - we were warned of this in advance. You do need to hold onto the stair rail and do not be shocked by the state of the stairway as the apartment has been immaculately renovated. Do not bring a large or heavy suicase - leave it in the car !
