Exhausting, lack lustre waste of money, should have stayed home

Very poor from start to finish, from poor quality mattress to kitchen units refrigerator and dining table being repaired with cellotape to fire not working and no lighter available to light cooker ,which we found out about at 8.30 pm after reception was closed , we booked this break with the intention of it being a kids holiday, but with one hours entertainment a day starting at 7 o'clock, comprising of half a hour standing in a queue for a photo with someone dressed in a mouse suit , and the other half dancing to music , just found the whole experience exhausting and lack lustre

Not At All What I expected

Worst site ever. Experienced racism and threats to myself and my family. Diane exacerbated the issues with her lack of moral and lack of staff responsibility. I made a formal complaint and contacted the Police and Solicitor.

Lovely staffs and modern decoration

New modern decoration and lovely staffs are the most valuation of the caravan park to us. My 6y boy had a enjoyable time and he really loves it.

1. The room looks like new and clean. However, we could smell the pillow reeking of sweat. We wonder do they really change the beddings every time? Especially it's COVID around, this should be seriously improved. 2. The swimming pool is to short for every family or customer. Only half hour per day is not enough for children. Although I understand it's because the COVID but still if the can manage this better cause the reason of many family stay here is the swimming pool.

Excellent

Booked thru booking.com but luckily it included parking and passes! Swimming pool lovely and caravan was spotless ans set up with a free bottle of wine! Check in was 4pm but arrived just after 2 and the caravan was ready! Pool heated just right!

It was brilliant, will be returning.

Loved watching the wrestling. All facilities very pleasant.

It was a fair walk into Rhyl and the bus depot.

Passable

Caravan was nice

Not really much to do. Swimming pool is quite small. Nice kids playground. Entertainment was good, but clubhouse quite small for the size of the camp. Kids Entertainment only on for 1 hour and that's it. Camp not really in a place where you can walk out and explore anything. Nowhere to eat after 9pm, everything was shut even though we were told 10pm. Not any use of the outside stage area which is a shame in the summer holidays! Beds on our gold caravan we're shockingly uncomfortable with every spring sticking out. We had to sleep in front room. Kids Beds were the same. Caravan was clean though and bottle of wine left for us.

Caravan was very spacious and holiday park location was perfect. Definitely will go back and stay there again. Kids loved the swimming pool 🏊‍♂️ .

Mattresses needs to be changed should be better quality rest everything was perfect

The resort itself is nice, it's just some visitors let it down.

Friendly staff, especially at the pool

The security deposit of £100 I paid on top which has not been given back 8 days later and counting. If this was known before I booked and paid for the none refundable caravan for the weekend I would have looked elsewhere. Upon chasing it for it to be returned I was told it takes 10 working days! Kids swearing and spitting in the kids play area (more of a parents place but thought I'd mention) Lack of food choices.

Incredible

The caravan was spotless and well equipped the site was perfect for our holiday super friendly with always something to do. The location was brilliant with shops ect close and a beautiful beach.

Perhaps the entertainment in club as a the singer was very loud for the small room she was singing in. Could do with something more for teenagers if I was being picky. All round was brill.

Was great stay however would stay closer to where it’s all happening next time.

Was big and clean

Not much going on the property. Have to drive everywhere to get to where everything is happening. Also not enough eating facilities on site. Not much choice and the burger bar didn’t have much stock.

Spacious caravan in a great location

The caravan was spacious, clean and comfy. It had a large area outside where the kids could play when we were in the caravan. The caravan was located really close to the amenities. The caravan park is well maintained and must easier than others to book things like swimming. I read reviews about not being able to use card payments but we had no problem whilst there.

A bit more choice of food on site would be great. The people at the takeaway hut were helpful and the food was good but if you’re there for a week it gets a bit boring having the same thing over again.

Very poor

The area, the distance from interesting places to visit. The staff were friendly. The food outlets on site were acceptable but overpriced. The distance to the beach was good. The grass areas were well kept. As I can't type in the section below. The caravan was really dirty when we arrived. There was fat dripping down the oven door. The fridge door was filthy, the seating area had food and sand all over it. The carpets were dirty. The bedroom doors stuck closed from the inside and someone had to force them open from the outside the room. One of the lighbulbs needed replacing in the dining area. We were told that all we needed to bring was towels, but there were no coat hangers. Who brings coat hangers on holiday? We had to pay for the WiFi, there was no dvd player. There was no where to hang a towel in the bathroom. I wouldn't recommend this place and certainly wouldn't go again.

A nice place as base for travel with supportive facilities to accommodate.

The location was clean, the caravan was fine for a Bronze size. But if you are very tall or large then the room size will cause issues. The pool and eating facilities are fine. The small parks are fine too. But they aren't really suitable for every day entertainment as the size and options within them are limited. The arcade is fine for a one off use and the bar is good place. The mermaid cafe is good to for small snacks and basic drinks so you can enjoy while the kids play in the park.

I have seen some parking issues as I was blocked in on a few occasions. The Captains Plaice is overpriced and low in quality. The staff were fine, but generally seemed like young kids as a summer break job and on one occasion the pool was booked in the morning only to be told it wasn't in the afternoon. One thing is you do have book an hour slot each day if you wish to use the pool.

the stay was quite enjoyable, we visited many places. we used the pool, we played bingo :) we had a great time x

Great atmosphere, friendly service. Very quiet place, you can relax there. comfortable bed. The resort's swimming pool is a great attraction, and the bar is family-friendly. We'll probably be back.

The caravan was without a terrace. what we didn't know. There was a stench in the living room connecting to the kitchen, it was not entirely clean.
