Nice room, comfortable bed. Friendly staff and good breakfast and dinner option. Great place for a stop over. Quiet place in the middle of no where. Perfect for stop over for our traverse of the Iberian Peninsula on motorbike.
Not much else in Garrovillas. So a good place to stay providing you're not keen on much sight seeing whilst you're there. I've stayed before and I'd stay again though.

The building is beautifully renovated and charming. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel located in small town but easy parking in grounds. Booked dinner bed and breakfast and really good value for money and the set evening meal was lovely. Plenty of choice at breakfast and a nice stop over on the way to the ferry with our dog who was also made welcome.

Comfortable room and dog friendly. Staff were efficient and friendly. We had half board which comprised a nice evening meal and a lovely breakfast. A good halfway stop-off between Santander and the Algarve and great value for money compared with some others.

Location
The fact that the only place to be with pets was the bedroom, or the car park but nowhere to sit in car park, although there used to be a few tables in front of the hotel. We were not allowed to sit at the tables in the garden (with pets on leads), although have done this in the past.

This place exceeded my expectations. The breakfast has a good food selection, and the food from the restaurant is amazing! We went with their set menu, which changes daily and was a good value for money and delicious. The pool is quite nice for a hot day. The location is also great, right at the centre plaza. Not too far from Caceres, good for a day trip. The AC was very welcome (it was 40C degrees!).
Difficult to find the car park from the back.

The building is wonderful with an interesting history, situated in one of the main squares. There was a great private parking around the property. The room was fresh and the bed was comfortable.
Some of the furniture looked a bit worn, the wardrobe doors looked a bit outdated with some scratches, not really matching the luxurious feel of the outside and entrance of the property.

Only stayed overnight on our road trip and ate evening meal but more than happy with everything.

Modern hotel in an historic building. Lovely renovation with plenty of history. The included evening meal was excellent and above expectations. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. Would be more than happy to re-visit and happy to recommend.
Swimming pool definitely needed the insects netting. Many of the outdoor tables and chairs needed a quick clean from bird mess, but nothing that would stop me returning.

Very nice building in a very nice setting. Rooms and hotel very comfortable. Also a nice garden where you can eat or just enjoy a drink. A very inviting swimming pool too.
The hospederia is right at the plaza in the center of the old town. This plaza is considered to be one of the most beautiful of Spain. We were there early in the season, therefore, little activities.
A general thing that I encounter in almost all hotels, which is the 'plastic' protector of the mattress. Understandable, but please add an extra layer between the cover and the sheet. It is very sweaty and thus nasty to wake up on a wet sheet. Ugh!

I think we were the only guests. The breakfast was very good, but the evening meal is too late for us and the standard was not as good as we have experienced here in the past, perhaps because we were the only guests. Very helpful staff.

Car parking inside by the reception was very safe. A Very safe and tranquil town. Really quaint and lovely old building that has been renovated to an excellent standard. Staff were friendly. Restaurant staff such as Ms Bravo were very good.

Most things. The rooms in the new wing were pleasant and being able to take the dogs into the garden for drink and meal was an unexpected bonus
The fair was in town and if we had not had a friendly policeman to guide us we might still have been trying to gain access.

Dinner mas delicious. We happened to be the only ones there as it las the first week of opening up. Breakfast also on the Terrace outside and a Little disorganised due to jitters and everyone being a little out of practice but all trying their best and very hospital
We were Fortunate that we were the only ones there but if you are travelling with your dog they have very restricted access around the hotel and Gardens for dogs. We were able to eat out on the Terrace with our dog but normally we were told this is not permitted. Also, for some reason (it was hot) the Pool mas also closed?

Loved it! Perfect location, very well maintained and spacious room, very reliable anti-covid measures in place, comfortable pillows and mattress. Great food options for dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended!

It was very quiet due to Covid we were the only guests so they could have possibly upgraded us to a room with a view.
Dinner in the restaurant was good. The breakfast was adequate probably better when able to have self service in non covid times.
The staff were all particularly helpful and friendly.
We liked the hotel location in the square

Very nice place. parking could be tricky onsite, in relation to parking area/number of rooms. helpful staff, good food
quite a way off the beaten track, if you are coming from the main north/south motorways
