Aspettative altissime ma non soddisfatte

Sicuramente un punto forte di questa struttura sono gli animatori e le loro attività giornaliere, unica pecca parlano poco italiano e non tutti. Buono il cibo Ottima la pulizia della stanza e dei luoghi comuni Bella l'idea di fare una sala giochi con il bowling accessibile sia a grande che piccini, bel modo di passare una serata in compagnia...Simpatico e accogliente il barman di questo locale

La prima cosa da dire è che nessuno dello staf di questo resort parli italiano a partire dalla reception ad arrivare ai camerieri, la seconda cosa è che nel nostro letto c'erano 2 doghe rotte e 2 non c'erano proprio (ovviamente può capitare) siamo andati a segnalarlo e ci hanno detto che avrebbero provveduto subito, beh così non è stato...abbiamo segnalato nuovamente il problema nei due giorni successivi e non è stato risolto, al terzo giorno il ragazzo alla reception ci dice che dobbiamo chiamare noi dalla camera il numero dedicato alla manutenzione (numero che sul telefono della stanza non cera) al fine del soggiorno quando ci viene chiesto se era andato tutto bene abbiamo fatto presente la cosa e ci è stato risposto ci dispiace..beh anche a me è dispiaciuto aver dormito malissimo per 8 notti Pessima la pulizia delle piscine La piscina interna poco pulita e piccolissima per ospitare la mole di ospiti per la capacità della struttura, l'idromassaggio si può dire inesistente, capienza massima 5 persone in inverno sarà sicuramente inavvicinabile oltre alla capienza c'è da dire che viene indicata la temperatura tra i 32 e i 35 gradi beh non è così è quasi sempre molto più fredda Non consiglierei comunque la struttura ad amici o parenti

Small mishaps but excellent hotel and staff

I liked the convenience of everything, the staff were friendly and helpful, refillable water taps, clean, many big pools, excellent entertainment and endless snacks and drinks. Food choices were lovely

Understandable but uncomfortable, the toilet in our room brought out fumes during the day, possibly due to the heat. This can be easily solved with toilet spray. I tried all the restaurants during my stay and they were fantastic apart from lorient, the waiter forgot that I ordered, only drinks available were water or beer, I had the entree and main then I was completely forgotten, the food that was supposed to be hot was cold. I left before I finished because they forgot me. I ended up having my dinner in the coral.

nice stay in a well equipped hotel not far from the see

there were large beds shows in the evening large swimming pool the food was nice and varied, and served by kind people (due to covid), which makes it less wasteful

not a lot of activities for the kids between 12 and 16 no gliders at the swimming pool no possibility to book for the restaurant a la carte - no place anymore

Wish the owners of this hotel kept it up to date!

db Seabanks Resort + Spa All Inclusive holiday feels like you are paying for the pool, the entertainment, the food and drinks. If you are not intrested in having the above included, then at €300 a night, you will find a much better hotel room to stay at in Malta. We moved hotel to a camera one (Paradise Bay Resort) and paid €120 including breakfast for a much better room with sea view. Positive: + This hotel has very friendly staff, they will go the extra mile to help you!! 5 Stars to them!!! + The main restaurant has a good (but a bit repetitive) selection of food and drinks. + The hotel is situated opposite one of the few sandy beaches on Malta. + The main bar is good and has a nice terrace overlooking the bay. + There is an adults only pool for over 16s that is nice and a bit quieter, it also has its own bar that is good. + There are plenty of sun beds and parasols and shade. + The aqua exercises are good and the team of staff by the pool deserves a 5 Stars rating!! + I keep going on about the staff! They really made our stay! From the cleaners to the managers! All excellent!

Negative: - The other restaurant that are included within the All Inclusive deal, are not worth the visit at all! We booked 3 of the restaurants and on 2 of them we could not eat the meat! The BBQ uses tuff (cheap) meat, so does the Brazilian. The food at those restaurants is low budget. - The rooms and the facilities are tired and will need a good update. Things keep breaking or do not work to start with. It seems the hotel does not have a procedure to check the rooms work before booking in the new guest. One of our 3 rooms had aircon not working. Called maintenance and they claimed they fixed it but the room took around 8h to cool down. The aircon has sensors and turns off if you walk out the room, so you cannot leave it on. Safes not working, maintenance called in to fix. Doorlock not working, maintenance called in to fix. Shower not working as it should. Water came out of bath filler, handheld shower head and fixed shower head at the same time. This time I got bored and did not call to get it fixed. - Towards the end of our stay (when UK schools are on holiday) the hotel got over crowded. We have long queues to both drinks and food. I appreciate that this is to the time of year.

Exceptional

Great service. Excitable and helpful people. Food like a dream :) - everyone will find something for themselves. You can't be hungry there:) I highly recommend staying at this hotel. We are very satisfied. A lot of animation and gymnastics classes, kids are not bored. Extra-large swimming pool. A big plus separate pool with pool bar for 16+

Very disappointed. Hotel has the philosophy of quantity over quantity. Over crowded and nothing like the pictures sugges

Staff were helpful.

Way over populated and over crowded. Facilities are worn out and breaking. Rooms are small and place does not smell hygienic. Day visitors were allowed in and completely took over the pool and dinning area. Loud and obnoxious, smoking and excessively drinking. All hotel guests who had paid for all inclusive for a week were visibly upset. More kids in the hotel then adults and parents allowing them to behave as they pleased. Hotel looks nothing like the pictures. Most of the facilities are so packed with people there no space to even breathe. Food was super disappointing. Hotel really needs to relook at their business model. Quantity over quality does not ensure you return business and customer retention.

Seabanks resort was fantastic and I will recommend it to everyone!

Location!!!! We had everything we needed right there. amazing food, great rooms, pools, activities, beach, entertainment, restaurants, kind staff, comfy beds, fantastic views, less touristy area, great great great deal for the money.

My only complaint truly is that the air conditioning would not get truly cold. I like the fact that it is environment friendly but the temperature stays the same and you can’t truly control it. My friend and I were warm at night and it was only May. I can’t imagine the summer heat!

Really great place!

The Coral buffet restaurant is lovely! We tried a couple of the other ones - but Coral was by far the best! Rooms - clean and well maintained. Could do with a face lift but that's all. Entertainment - the staff were all eager to get everyone involved! Great for the kids! Pool - unfortunately it was cold as we visited early April, but we have been before in the summer and it is brill - very clean! All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Such a lovely place and such good value for money. You don't need to leave the resort as everything is there - including a shop which sells EVERYTHING! If you do want to explore Malta, DB is right on the main bus route so everywhere is accessible (2 euros for a trip anywhere on the island!) Bargain! Thankyou DB we will be back again soon xx

One tiny thing - a little more choice for vegans and dairy / gluten allergies. Especially deserts. But the restaurant staff are very helpful and do talk you through what you can ) can't eat.

Very well enjoyed, the scenery was amazing & people were friendly.

Breakfast had wide selection.

Room service should be able to check on number of guests in rooms in order to fill up things in the bathroom, such as shower cap. Only one shower cap was left in the room for (3) guests & was never replaced throughout our stay.

good value for the money when all inclusive is at 100 euro/night (off-season)

Hotel deserves its 4 stars. At first sight, arriving a Monday Night in February, we were baffled initially by the overcrowded reception and strange smell inside the room and on the room balcony from the nearby restaurant. But the minuses ended there. For the next days we would have discovered only pleasant surprises, especially the nice thematic restaurants and the exquisite included a-la-carte italian - Salia. Personel and managers deserve a 5 star rating due to their involvement and excellent attitude.

Some room interiors are starting to get worn, especially joints in bathrooms (tub edges) that would care some refreshing sealant. Central heating was not working the first 2 nights, but we received complementary electric heaters that compensated.

All staff were very helpful and hotel very clean and food very good .

We where placed on the 6th floor which we didn't like at all as as due to weather the lifts broke down . I suggest that people with a certain age like for example my husband is 68yrs will be in a 2nd or 3r floor for any inconvenience happen with the lifts. We ended up avoiding going up and down to our room as it was in 6th floor .it's too much to go up by the stairs. We are a regular clients as for us it's the best hotel in malta. Which still is .

The quality of the food across the day was very good. There was a good selection of food at all meals and requiring gkuten free food options, the chefs did everything possible to accomodate my requirements

I was aware that the hotel was a family resort prior to booking the stay, and in fairness to the hotel there was an area for adults only with their own pool, but other areas, particularly the foyer were too noisy with unruly children

Lovely hotel, excellent food and facilities.

All inclusive resort. Makes it so much easier to just pay at the start and then no unexpected bills later. Food was great. Enjoyed some of the speciality restaurants too for a change. Always lots of choice of food and healthy options, plus some excellent veggie/vegan options. They also would happily cook something else such a nuggets for the kids if requested. Clean rooms and friendly staff too. Our room was spotless. Close to the beach if you fancy a paddle.

All good. Aircon a bit tricky to work at first but that was probably us not them.
