Spa included in the room price
Outdated building and overpriced restaurant

Nice location and the staff was very helpful.
The noise isolation within the building is rather poor. When the first guest get up and start closing doors you automatically wake up too if you ar not a very deep sleeper.

Booking went well
We could not travel to Elsass that weekend. We booked a family room for two nights in this hotel. Unfortunately, 2 of our children got sick just that week. We cancelled the first day booking, aware that we would lose the first day payment. We asked for consideration for the 2nd day. The hotel would not hear of it. We were fully charged for 2 days, not using the room. We understand the non-refundable policy. Our issue here is customer service. Many travelers face unforeseen circumstances esp. traveling with children. Booking.com also tried in our behalf for consideration. This hotel did not budge. Kindness is a virtue. It goes a long way. Hence, we share our experience dealing with this hotel. This hotel only had this non-refundable option. It is up to the reader to take risks at non-refundable terms

I liked the quiet mountain location of this hotel. I also appreciated the easy use of the spa, after a tiring, traveling day. The room was big enough for 2 people, and the bed firm!
Not negative but would be appreciated if there was a small fridge in the room. sometimes, travelers bring snacks and provisions in their luggages when traveling by car. It would help to keep them cool during our stay esp. in summer season.

Beautiful area and lovely staff so friendly
Not much for vegetarian options on menu - was disappointing food and very expensive

Staff was nice, the spa facilities were great.
The location was also beautiful, in the mountains, close to Colmar as well.
The room and bathroom were a very good size, nice big windows.
The room was a but outdated but it was good value for the money anyway
We were in the annexe which made it somewhat more difficult with getting the right information from staff

it was our best decision to stay here instead of the city. Excellent hotel. It is possible to visit the spa center for free, which we did for 2 days. The spa is not big but very good, there are several saunas, a steam room and a pool.
There is also parking on the territory.
We had a superior room, it looks better than in the photo.
Also, I thank the staff for delivering dinner to the room when the restaurant was full.
The location of the hotel is very good, it's quiet, the view of the mountains.
Keep in mind that in winter you will need snow chains! And please check the road, because at first our navigator took the wrong road and we drove along the cobblestones (with dangerous descents).
But there is a different nice road nearby and you will get to Colmar in 20 minutes.
It is also obligatory to go to a wine degustation and drive along the wine road.
Visit small towns. You'll like it. In Colmar I recommend to be no more than 1 day.

The location was beautiful, idyllic.
There is limited places to eat once there and we didn't feel the staff at the restaurant were that accommodating, basically I wouldn't describe it as service with a smile. The lady at the front desk was very polite though. Small waiter had an attitude problem.

After we travelled 12 hours through three countries to try to make it to check-in time deadline, we were greeted with "in ten minutes we close the restaurant". In general very poor staff attitude. The room was a total disaster. I rent out a mobile home in Munster and we have much better amenities for much lower the prices. They charged us more than 500 EUR for a terrible room in a building that was not used as a hotel anymore.

I cannot say I liked anything
Rooms were dirty. In our room, the bathroom was full of hair and dust. The bedding: oh my God, who doesn’t even have a proper cover for the blanket?! Disgusting. Bed was uncomfy, I couldn’t sleep well and woke up with a backache. The bathtub didn’t have any glass or anything around, all the water everywhere. There was nothing to hang the shower head, not even basics. Walls are of paper so we woke up in the middle of the night due to someone entering their room, dinner was absolutely mediocre, I couldn’t even finish it. Service was bad too, we were annoyed by the person who was supposed to speak English but of course didn’t. When we asked if he has any suggestion, he literally said no.

Breakfast had a good selection. The spa was very good, clean and easy to use. Room was a decent size. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The WiFi was okay but kept dropping out.
The WiFi connection was difficult to use at first. Had to persevere. We ate at the restaurant and were not impressed with the menu. We felt it was overpriced and was reflective of mass catering.

Very nice hotel in picturesque countryside. Excellent food, dinner and breakfast top!
Overall it was good . Maybe a little more comfort in the bathrooms by adding some shower gel or tissue paper , a hook on the door … would have helped .
The rooms , though clean, are outdated . But the bed was comfortable.

Very flexible hotel, due to car trouble a day delayed and no problem with change of the dates. Friendly personnel which help you and provide a pleasant stay.
The time window of the Spa 15:00-19:00 is to short.
The room and building are outdated with a 70’s interior. In that case, the off-season price is to high and should be somewhere 40 - 50€.

Staff was very nice, restaurant is quite good.
The hotel is quite old - OK if you like a rustic style :)

Good nights sleep with a comfy bed and quiet surroundings. Location in the "center" of Labaroche is very good, both for local visits (farmers market right next door, museum) and for hiking tours. Small but high quality spa area. Parking is not an issue. The staff is kind and helpful. The cycling "Tour Alsace" was passing at the time in front of the hotel which was fun.
The room (superior) is just OK. Though it was clean enough, on the floor we found some spilled coffee powder, a hair tie + many hairs, a very dirty floor towel... as if it had not been vacuumed at all after the previous visitors. Breakfast and dinner were also just OK, nothing to blow your mind.

The area is amazingly beautiful. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Rooms are clean I tidy. The experience is very positive.
Rooms are a bit out dated but it goes well with the whole experience and atmosphere, so we actually liked it more.
Is would have been very nice if we had a kittle and a cooler.
