If you want to live in a castle, then you've come to the right place, yes it's a bit musty and the rooms may need an update, but overall it's awesome. The location in the middle of a large park and the kitchen deserves top ratings, a small menu, but an amazing meal!
4.2
* very nice location, beautiful in the snow
* very nice hotel in general and my room was large and old style luxury
* a group of Danish hunters staying in the hotel at the same time causing an overwhelming monoculture in the bar and the restaurant
4.2
Lovely lobby, breakfast in winter garden like no other, stroll thru the garden, very pleasant and nicely mannered staff. Rooms cosy, get a view of a garden, not the outside road!
If you don't like carpets, stay away, bathroom is getting bit old, but kept clean.
4.2
Exceptional hotel with beautiful classic architecture, imposing rooms and very beautiful grounds (garden).
Impressive breakfast buffet in very elegant surroundings. Nice common area in the foyer. Nice employees
At least my room didn't have a nice view because the window was far above and tiny. At least the bathroom had a "normal" window.
4.2
everything. charming accommodation. food good.
nothing - all good.
4.2
The grounds outside the hotel were nice.
Hotel WiFi is so bad it might as well be non
existent. Hotel is dark and dirty, rooms are just
wiped down, dust everywhere. They did not
inform us of construction happening. Woke up
to men looking in my window at me sleeping.
Loud work on the building started at 0800 sharp
each morning. Food was not good as well.
4.2
Great location and charming palace to stay. Breakfast was yummy too and the on-site restaurant chef has lots of talent, what a treasure! Spa options also don't wanna be missed; the pool was included. Next door scenic lake invites for walks every once in a while. The owner and his employees put lots of effort to maintain this palace I'd guess. Would definitely recommend to stay here for a few nights.
Overall there's not much not to like, however sometimes I missed some hospitality, even though some employees tried so that's ok.
Outside the hotel areal there's nothing to do - at least we didn't find anything, good that the hotel offers some entertainment possibilities like billiard, a reading room or the spa although the jacuzzi was closed at the time we were there.
4.2
Outstanding building, authentic interior, very clean and fantastic breakfast.
not reachable without car. beds to soft for my taste. staff can’t speak english.
4.2
The place itself. Its an old castle, really beautiful with a great landscape. Many persons complain about the old furniture and old style.. Well, what do you expect from an old building like this?
Breakfast could be much better.
4.2
Gorgeous location and building. The approach road is very bumpy but looks like there is ongoing work to improve it.
Note this is a bit off the tourist trail so communication in English can be tricky, but this is no fault of the hotel staff.
Booking.com gave the option to include dinner - don't do this! It limits you to a basic set menu. After some negotiation we managed to change to the standard menu at cost, the food was outstanding.
Really good spread available for breakfast too.
Don't expect much in the way of internet/WiFi coverage, it's very patchy.
Beds a little rickety but it kind of adds to the period charm.

Everything from Front Desk to the excellent service, food selection, presentation in the restaurant, the huge garden with the lake.
Nothing
4.2
Beautiful building, wonderful grounds, good breakfast, lots of character.
Bedroom a little dated. Hotel a bit of a 'faded glory' - cracked floor tiles, cracked window by conservatory, some cracked paving and some rendering falling off. Also pool looked grimy and tennis court had weeds coming through.
4.2
The building itself is amazing and unique
jacuzzi was out of order
4.2
the lake and the main hall were amazing
the spring beds were awful. also room looked into yard with turkeys which are extremely loud from 05:00. If you stay multiple days the restaurant menu is short and you'll eat all options. Bar closes at 22:00 and there is no where else to go in the area.

This hotel is a nightmare! They need to renew everything. The Pool ist a dirt, the food is disgusting. And the furnitures has lived it best life 40 years ago.
Everything!

Fantastic hotel. Made us feel as we moved into medieval times. Hotel has literally everything you may need for a pleasant stay, pool, sauna, pool table, small fitness centre, 2x outdoor tennis courts (unfortunately closed when we were there due to winter), great breakfast, huge hotel garden, pet friendly (we had our dog with us). Highly recommend

The food from the restaurant is delicious. The lounge is magnificent as well as the surroundings
The bed was not comfortable, it was very cold in the room, we had to wait 45min to get dinner
4.2
Very nice hotel, a bit old furniture and beds etc but very comfortable and staff go out of tgheir way to make your stay nice
A French group of hunters were theer whoi were extreme loud, all night too
4.2
This is a wonderfully kept romantic castle with park. You could really feel the history of this wonderful place. The common areas like bar and restaurant are very nicely decorated. We loved it!!! And the restaurant food was absolutely excellent and at a very fair price. Kitchen and waitress staff were super friendly and helpful.
We had 2 breakfasts, one on Monday, one on Tuesday. Seems like the Monday breakfast is "smaller". But there was still plenty of choice!
4.2
Unique experience, excellent food. Splendid interiors and gardens.

Extra bed for our son was extremly uncomfortable.

Palace is located in a small village with peaceful surroundings about 20 minutes South of Koszalin. Pretty exterior and interior design. Authentic but nicely renovated public spaces with great attention to historical detail. Beautifully decorated dining room and attractive park with pond, terraces and peacocks. Our room was small but tastefully furnished with quality antique cabinets, tables and wall artwork. Good breakfast buffet. Enclosed parking available. Windows open to allow air, if needed. Pleasant and helpful staff.
Room very small. No in-room safe. Poor, practically non-functional wi-fi. Cell phone signal in this remote area also minimal. Assume your stay will be an internet detox.

A bit of history + feel like in castle + high level hotel service + amazing territory.
P.S. Especially wonderful at night - moonlight and candles create fairytale atmosphere

The breakfast and the dinner were both excellent, even though, due to Corona, we had to take it in the room. Room was very nice, old fashioned and cosy. Big open fireplace in the room. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately the room lacked a curtain so it was fairly bright during the night as there was an outdoor light directly above the balcony. However, staff tried everything to switch off that light.
