There is no shelf in the shower to put soap, etc. Cumbersome

This place has the BEST cheeseboard I've ever seen. I fact if you're eating in the restaurant ask to see the cheeseboard first because you'll want to leave plenty of room
Our dogs were welcome in the room and in the restaurant, and the grounds are wonderful for dog walking

The location is good to explore the area and the limoges manufactures during the day and lounge at the pool late afternoon. It's a retreat. The staff is nice and discreet, the rooms are cosy and have almost all you might need (some amenities are missing and some were not replaced the next day), the setting is pretty and you can have all your meals on the property which is convenient.
I wish there were spa services, pool-side service, heated pool and a wider choice on the more casual restaurant's menu. I was really not very impressed by the Michelin starred (1 star) restaurant - it wasn't bad, it just wasn't great, but it also was not very expensive for that category. I was also disappointed with the underwhelming quality of the breakfast (a lot old and stiff cakes and croissants...).

Beautiful and spacious rooms.
Delicious breakfast
Staff very friendly but unfocused (forgot our orders twice at dinner).
Dinner was good but not outstanding as expected for such a place.

The dinner was absolutely excellent, photo worthy, even though i dont like people taking phots of their food, i discreetly did!! Staff knowledgable and very helpful.
The stay was totally spoiled by the woefully inadequate breakfast. Sparce buffet. two slices of ham, two slices of smoked salmon, eggs to boil yourself in water not hot enough, so had a raw egg. Hard bread, cut yourself cheese and hard meat. Id go as far to say its the worse breakfast I’ve ever had especially at 50 euros for 2!!! Scrambled eggs were provided for another disgruntled couple so we jumped on the bandwagon only to be served puréed eggs absolutely drowned with white pepper that lingered on the palate for the next few hours. The breakfast was too hard work, repeatedly going back to see if we”d missed something. checking if the boiled eggs were done, sawing tough bread. No menu!!! And tiny miniature croissants!!!! The butter packs were bigger!

Dinner on the terrace and choice of restaurants was very good. Lovely swimming pool. Good bedroom.
the only negative is there are busy roads nearby and although you can hear traffic in the garden you really do t notice it as it is all so stunning and large.

Food in the restaurant is excellent.
No service, terrible breakfast location wirth people vacuum cleaning the salon. No room service. Totally outdated location with untrained staff.

Excellent quiet countryside location 20 mins from Limoges centre. Great evening restaurant options. Lovely secluded swimming pool.
Rooms OK but overpriced. Poor expensive breakfast service. Struggled recruiting experienced staff which for a 5 star Relais et Chateaux Hotel is inexcusable and honestly not the paying guests problem. 5 star prices with 3 star service.
