The rooms were very nice and the grounds were magnificent.
The dinner was a bit disappointing - overcooked burger. But the breakfast was very nice.

Very comfortable room and gardens, best breakfast we’ve ever had at a hotel. I liked that they had a separate menu to choose from if you wanted something other than English breakfast. Tracey was an amazing server and the house keeping staff was so thoughtful and kind, really willing to help with anything. The restaurant had an amazing dinner menu as well.
I can’t really think of anything

Lovely quiet estate in the country- peaceful
Fabulous old style rooms
Only criticism would be that the lighting is a bit too dull, but i finds this is common in older style residences

Great hotel with historical ties. The hotel has rooms in the original manor and a tasteful extension equally vintage. The setting is very quiet, although there was a bunch of drunken guests to spoil the serenity one evening.
Nothing really. The waiting staff seemed a little unsure.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The evening meal was a treat, a little expensive but each course was delicious. Everywhere was comfortable, well decorated and maintained.
I was disappointed with the coffee in the room. I don't really expect Nescafé sachets at the price paid for the room.
