Friendly place with modern new rooms and good bathroom. Lovely Vietnamese food in their restaurant. Also choice of French food.
No lift if you need one. Staff in restaurant friendly but service bit haphazard but still had great meal. Wine by glass not very good.

Amazing location. Not far the mountains. The room was very clean, quite, with a little fridge, and big bathroom. AC is working great, there is a balcony as well.

We had been on the road for some time, and so were in need of restoration, and the Hôtel definitely provided it! We parked over the road which was most convenient & were welcomed with kind courtesy by a young staff member. The lounge area has sofas and barrel style chairs - comfy & stylish.
Our warm room had a lovely classic semi-circular balcony with a pretty view over both the town centre and behind it, the mountains. The doors to it were easy to open & the room equipped with garden style chairs which could easily be taken to sit outside. The bed was large & comfortable. The bath was a good size/depth, lots of hot water, the shower also quality with two heads. The lighting was mood lighting and good for utility too. The small kettle and full length mirror were very welcome. Pictures in the room are a homely touch.
The restaurant & breakfast room, are lovely with beautiful ironwork gates separating the two main areas, attractive chandeliers, classic arched windows and some fine pieces of carved wood furniture.
We had supper in the restaurant, posing a slight conundrum for the chef, being vegan & vegetarian, (as most of the French & Vietnamese dishes included meat or fish) but they rose to the challenge. The goat's cheese salad was delicious, well balanced, excellent with a carafe of house wine, a fruity red. The nemes/spring rolls were very tasty. The main course a selection of fritter potatoes which were lovely, black pepper potatoes, fine rice, and fried vegetables. Unusual, tasty & filling. Breakfast buffet was great; little croissants, chocolatines, granola etc., yogurts, lovely freshly squeezed orange juice, good apple juice, other juices, a decent coffee/hot chocolate machine, teas, fresh baguettes, confitures (the pear especially), biscuits, fruit salad, fruit (& eggs, cheese, cold meats). Our hostess and host were attentive.
We left feeling restored and relaxed.
Salt and pepper on the tables? The hotel has cards instead of keys, lighting that goes comes on to movement and a lot of white/grey/brown decor, but that's simply in line with current/modern mores, and this is mitigated by a very good selection of art on the walls, the charming balconies and the more classical dining areas. So nothing at all substantive to dislike.

Even with the COVID and curfews we had an excellent experience. We had a lovely room with a balcony and mountain views. Because the restaurant was not open we had full meals delivered to our room which were delicious. The Thai dinner they served was amazing!
Staff were very friendly and helpful and all amenities were of high standard.
We had no problems!

Nice old building, lovely location and breakfast.
We called in advance to stay for dinner, as we had a very long day of travel with two young children. When we came to check in they told us they where full and did not book us the table. We did not get a proper explanation; the lady at reception left to do an other chore and did not respond to our question and request to squeeze us in. This was around 20:45 with two young children.
