Off the broken track but still close to Nice. Staff gladly arranged excellent dinner although we arrived very late. The surrounding was extremely peaceful and nice!

The location is magic. Lovely hotel with a lovely view from the balcony. Staff were very nice and helpful and the restaurant food was beautifully presented and delicious. Loved our stay.

Setting is peaceful. Rooms have balconies. Very laid back atmosphere and staff. There is a choice of gastronomic or bistro menus. The lack of air conditioning was not a negative due to the elevation, and they did have fans.
The hilltop town has no shops, and the posted view of town is not accessible. Food for dinner is pricey, and breakfast was overall disappointing. Breakfast was advertised from 8:30 to 10:30, but at 8:45 there was only self-serve coffee, and self serve a small bowl of cherries and one type of cheese. This was followed by a basket of croissants and bread, a small glass of fresh pressed orange juice, and a bowl of yogurt with a few fruits. Seven tables were set. Although 56 euros for four wasn’t expensive, it would have been nice to have choices.
A wall mount for the shower head would have been a big plus.

Very beautiful place, pittorescue, and Jazz Festival was bonus.

I was lost 1 hour and 1/2 trying to find it. The address they provide on bookings does not take you to the hotel.
I had to cancel the booking. Stressful day!

Beautiful location, friendly staff, amazing meal at the restaurant
Although the rooms are clean, the decor (carpets, drapes) need to be updated. This can be done while still maintaining the character of the building, but it is sorely needed.

Very nice dinner food.

We chose a nice room with valley view and you can see the village from the room. It´s s beautiful and the room has a lot of character. Don´t expect a boring hotel chain room but a room well in line with an "auberge" a little off the beaten track. The bath room has been completely modernized. Very functional and modern
Nice is 30 mn away with a good road. very nice pedestrian walks to do on well signaled trails.
Food is amazing, and the breakfast is also served only with fresh products and very generous.
David was very friendly and oriented us towards a beautiful place to go to Midnight Mass for Christmas.
There is nothing not to like. This is a beautiful setting in the "arriere pays" of Nice. If I had to put something, I would say the wifi server requires often to reconnect.

Cozy hotel on top of village mountain. Remote and quiet. Hikes above village.
A little tricky to drive up, especially if have a big car. Not much to do other than relax, eat, read and explore little village.

Location is absolutely fantastic! Small village at the top of the mountain next to the hotel is something out of the fairytale, we absolutely loved it!
The hotel itself looks like the time have stopped at the start of the 20th century, clean and cosy and although we had a problem with the terrace door it was sorted quickly by the manager, first class service and good food was also a bonus.
Will defenitely stay again in the future if in the area as the views and place are absolutely spectacular.
This wasn't a problem for my partner as she's quite small but I'm 185cm (6.1') tall so could do with slightly bigger bed, but that's me being realy picky.

The restaurant and village are why we stay here. Fantastic food and hosts, the view is great, you can walk the village or there are trails around to navigate easily.
No AC, it was super hot when we stayed.

Great location, picturesque view, friendly and helpful staff and delicious dinner!
There is no conditioner in room, but we knew that before and it wasn’t problem for us. May be for some people noise from restaurant can be a problem, but we prefer this “restaurant side” because of beautiful view.

The dinner, and the service and the town :)

setting and view
chose bistro dinner and this was a big mistake.
1.
discriminatory arrangement of table setting. understood that staff need to able to know who has which menu but it should not be so blatant
2
entree was fine but main course reminded us of school lunches.
very disappointing when the establishment is clearly capable of doing so much better
5.0
the staff were very friendly and helpful and the owner spoke English well and was helpful.
very stuffy old style rooms and bathroom. No air conditioning, they had electric fan but for me that was noisy and had to stop it to be able to sleep
