El mirador
Está un poco lejos de todo, y el hotel cobra por todo el transporte, cuando no hay más opciones.

The rustic cabins were quiet and serene, overlooking the valley.
Transportation to and from the different spots is expensive. Internet is spotty and only works near or at the restaurant.

Awesome property with great views.

location was good for hikes and viewing the sunrise and for birding.
March is cooler do prepare for weather. Birding was poor during the winter season.
The pool is not useable in Winter.

Great view
Felt rushed and given old cold breakfast. Felt ripped off when they tried to charge $400 MEX for 2 people ride to the park (its only $75 for a taxi and $30 to enter). They didn't say the price up front and tried to tack it on when we checked out.
Location is nice but a hassle to get to.
Bar was more expensive and less nice than surrounding hotels.

There is so much to enjoy. The staff was hands-on with all your questions and needs. Exceptional view of the Canyon. Breakfast and dinners were tailored for each of us in our party to perfection. In the dining hall, there is always a warm fire to cozy up to.
The best rooms with the most spectacular views were a few flights up, but I did enjoy the exercise..

view from the room was fantastic

the location was gorgeous, although you definitely need a car to get around.
The hotel was outdated and very expensive for what it is. it must have been a nice place 30 years ago, but it seemed all maintenance has stopped since, leading to the decline of this hotel. The hotel is not very hygienic, the food was questionable and the amenities are a joke. This was by far the most expensive hotel that we stayed at during our month long trip to Mexico, but the quality was by far the worst. This hotel is ridiculously overpriced.
The rooms are not well maintained and a bit dirty to be honest. The pool is absolutely freezing, the jacuzzi is not working and the gym is a bare room with a broken treadmill. The kitchen in the room is useless. The stove doesn’t work, there is not even a cup to use. The WiFi is not working in the rooms and is very sketchy in the lobby.
The worst thing is that we decided to leave the hotel a day earlier, because we had to do some work and there was no functioning WiFi in our room. Explaining the situation to the hotel staff, we agreed that they would reimburse us the night that we would not stay there. It has been three weeks and they haven’t reimbursed a thing. They don’t even answer our calls or e-mails…. This is incredibly inconsiderate, rude and probably even illegal.
Taking everything into account: don’t go here!

Personal was friendly, eager to help and provide information and transportation. Food at the restaurant was good. Places are within no time to reach. 10-15 min.
Cabins are cozy, no tv nor wifi in the room. Altitude is really to be felt.

The manager did an exceptional job of seeing that all our needs were taken care of.
Our room had a gas heater which kept us cozy at night.
We enjoyed the freedom of sitting on the bar verandah with a nice view or later afternoon in the dining room with a fire.
Lovely views of the canyon only five to seven minutes walk. Courtesy one hour walk fantastic.
Free pick up and drop off from El Divisidero Station 🚉
Enjoyed the three course evening dinners.
