Great value, welcoming hotel

A perfect location in Cazorls within easy walking distance of the town. Free parking available outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with air con. Good value for money! Would definitely book again when visiting Cazorla.

All as expected, no complaints.

An excellent base for exploring Cazorla and its sierra.

Clean comfortable room in eclectic property. Easy access to the wonderful national park. Ambrosio is an excellent host and gave us very good information.

Some of the facilities would benefit from a little attention (eg the handrail and lighting on the stairs).

Superb

Very nice and good-looking people working there. The old part of town is up on a hill. The hostel is at the bottom. That means you can find parking maybe 150 meters away. You do have to walk a steep hill to go to the old part of town. But then having a hotel on top of the cliff would not be a good idea because the old streets are not made for cars. Everything was fine: hot water, tv, cleanness..

Staff were welcoming and very helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and well serviced. We went to Cazorla for the Blues Festival and found the atmosphere in the public bar at the Hotel to be a good prelude! Lovely 'Earthy' atmosphere at the place. If you want 4 star comforts and facilities, pay for a four star hotel, if you want a clean, honest place to stay where you will feel welcomed at a reasonable price, no problems here.

Some of the public areas and detail like the stairway lighting needed updating. But for the money, we thought it was excellent value and suited our purpose really well.

So-so hotel, but exceptionally friendly staff

The management and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The manager drew me a detailed map of Cazorla as he didn't have a printed one, and kept the bar open past closing time to serve us a last drink when we got back late. Breakfast in the bar was 'anything we wanted' (within reason). The place was clean, and there is plenty of free parking nearby.

It's a tired old place really. Our room was small and there were no bedside reading lights. It's a fairly steep, 15 minute climb into the interesting part of the town. It's not that cheap for what you get - it seems that other hotels in the old town are comparably priced, or cheaper.

A good budget choice in Cazorla. More a bar than a hotel? Friendly people. An uphill slog to reach the main town.

Decent place to stay if you don't mind a little excercise. (I didn't)

Bed was very comfortable.

Location on a main thoroughfare was somewhat noisy, long uphill walk to center.

I loved this hotel. I would def come back.

The staff is fantastic. Very helpful. Very understanding of my lack of Spanish. The chicken burger was awesome. I wish the restaurant was open more.

I wish the hotel had dinner more nights. It was closed Sunday and Monday.

Good

Clean & comfy at a fair price.

Room I was given was at the front facing the road, whilst there wasn't a lot of traffic it could have been a lot quieter elsewhere in the building.

Popular bar with the locals, not many places to eat and drink nearby, you need to get the centre

Liked the friendly staff, free parking outside the hotel. The nature park was amazing, walked through very old forests and alongside the river, saw 2 wild deer close by.

The bed was very uncomfortable. The bathroom needed upgrading, the sink and bath grouting was either roughly done or missing. The walk to the centre was 300m but this was up a very steep slope, you needed to go in the car and park unless you were very fit.
