Excellent staff
Pool area was a bit dated. Not a big fan of a grass pool surrounding- always looks better with hard surround.
4.5 / 5.0
Beautiful chateau in amazing grounds
Nice heated pool in pretty surroundings
Lovely memorable restaurant and dinner
Slightly small double room despite price
Slightly slow waitress/waiter service
Breakfast could have been better - kept running out of things and took a long time to refill

Excellent historic building. Great location. Friendly if rather obsequious staff.
Throughout smell - more than musty- rather drains and urine.
Food was way over priced and pimped for what it was

Beautiful place and mostly attentive staff. Pool was not working when it should have been, then it was, then it wasn’t?! When it eventually was, it was cold and very dirty. Will be speaking to R&C as this was not dealt with adequately. A poultry couple of glasses of champagne were offered as an apology… Much confusion and many ignored messages… If you want a seamless experience for a short break, you should probably look elsewhere.

Slightly dated rooms - but that's sort of the idea!

The breakfast was sumptuous and delicious and we were well looked after but did not feel rushed.
Our dinner the previous evening was also excellent.
Our room had a lovely view over the gardens and the room was very clean and comfortable.
We were booked for dinner at 8pm and we sat down on the terrace for a pre-dinner drink at 7.30pm. We had to wait 15 minutes for our 2 coupes de champagne which was very slow. Having chosen our menus whilst sitting outside, no one asked us to our table and I had to go inside at 8.20pm to mention that we now wished to sit at our table and start our meal. I was most disappointed with this lack of attention and another couple had a similar experience.
This is an area requiring improvement and I would suggest that a more experienced person is in charge of showing people to their table.

The Chateau is beautiful, great parking , and a wonderful welcome from the staff on reception, one of whom gave us a mini tour. The room we had was perfect, well presented, very comfortable bed, quiet and a lovely en-suite shower room. All of the staff were so professional, polite and with a good sense of care for all of their customers. Breakfast was wonderful, an assortment of dishes that were brought to you along with coffee and juice. We would definitely stay again, and would have liked time to lie around the outside pool area and to discover the walks in the woods.
The evening menu was a bit pricey , although we know the quality of food is fabulous.

clean and friendly staff. location good and beautiful views. excellent food!
only the main restaurant serves food which meant that a simple meal (like club sandwich or Caesar salad) was not available in the evening.

The initial welcome was very warm and our room was upgraded to one of the hotel’s best. The interiors of the hotel are quite beautiful, displaying the very best of sophisticated French taste. The food and restaurant service were exceptional, and the wine list was not only very comprehensive but reasonably priced. Breakfast is served at your table; it was more than we could eat and very delicious.
I have no criticisms.

The chateau is a very nice place offering much more than an excellent restaurant and a high quality service - both expected in this chain. The staff was attentive and efficient.
We missed only rabits and sunshine for most of the day :)

A very well run hotel - everything was like clockwork. Room was very well appointed and beautifully furnished. Food in the restaurant was superb.
There was nothing to complain about.
