最低。二度と宿泊しない。東横インの方が、コスパや対応などすべてにおいて上（山形に限る）。

何もない

朝食会場がないことに加え、提携先の朝食店が土日祝日は休みで朝食場所を確保することに苦労したこと。また、提携駐車場はないのは判るが、無いことを理由に何もこちらの相談に乗ろうとしない態度は不愉快。

Very enjoyable. If I return to Yamagata I will stay here again

The room was very nice and the shower doubled as a bath which was very relaxing. It is only a 10 minute walk from the train station so it was easy getting around to different places.

The laundry dryer is not very good. Drying a dozen clothing items took 1 hour and 40 minutes. At other places I have stayed the same amount of clothes would be dry in 40-60 minutes.

Good for a night, maybe two. Coming from the APA in Yokohama it was kind of a let down

The location is a little far from the train station but not too bad. The restaurant next door is amazing.

The toilet seat was loose, the refrigerator did not work, the bed was hard as a rock.

A nice place to stay in Yamagata, walking distance to the train station, restaurants, the main park.

Breakfast was good. Nice location, visible up the avenue from the train station. Street with many restaurants is back toward the station, last major cross street before reaching it.

LOvely people and service, but the facilities are poor

Location great and staff lovely

Very unreliable internet. No English-language TV channels (even News 24 BBC had Japanese over-voice). Bathroom lock got me locked in. Bad smell from shower drain.

It was very near to station and there were bus stops just 100-200 m away. Very good location. Facilities were good too.

The place is good if you want to find a place to stay near Yamagata St that isn't too expensive.

I found the place quite near to Yamagata St. The room it self is nice for the price.

Too bad the breakfast ran out way too fast.

Can be better.

There is breakfast provided, just bread and coffee but enough to start eh day energized. Near the station enough to walk. Can leave baggage even before checkin

In the shower area, there is a big gap that water can pass through. The bathroom floor will be soaked if not careful There is no outlet near th beds

lobby and elevator smell oddly of chlorine? the rooms are very small, cold and dark. breakfast is just single pieces of bread wrapped in plastic.

Free bread and coffee for breakfast. The bed is super comfy. A bit too soft.

An old hotel. The door is difficult to open. Bathroom setting is inconvenient. Bidet toilet doesn’t work properly.

good location. staff was very helpful, older style simple-roomed hotel, but well within expectations

good central location (very near to the castle, "water town district" & the station) a lot of useful maps & information on the area in the lobby, plus staff always ready to help good working space in the room (if needed) more for summer, but, nice touch of having a balcony coffee and the free breakfast service was rather useful (especially given the lack of cafes open during the Pandemic)

hard to find some of the light switches (they did try to mark them, but a weird original design) a hard mattress/bed for my taste... also the noise insulation was somewhat lacking the window at the end of the corridor is invisible from the bedroom, thus I could not really appreciate the view from the room

Very clean and smells refreshingly nice

The room was surprisingly big compared to other APA hotels I have stayed in, and the bathroom, massive and not cramped unlike in other APA hotels. The hotel is just around 5-8 minute walk from JR Yamagata station and along can be found many restaurants and convenient stores. It is a perfect place to stay for day trips to several key spots in Yamagata. A few of the staff can speak English and are very attentive and accommodating, and quite surprisingly, wearing a smile. Stayed here for 10 days and found its perfect location to rest after many day trips in and around the Yamagata area. Sendai is just about 45 minutes away via JR local train. The hotel also offers a free simple breakfast of breads, tea and coffee. Another thing is that the place is immaculately clean and always smells refreshingly great. If you are interested in seeing Zao, Yamadera, Ginsan Onsen, Yamagata is the go-to place and APA Yamagata Ekimae Odori is a perfect place to stay.
