Superb location near the river in historic Chartrons district of Bordeaux, beautiful architecture and packed with character. Lovely old honey-coloured stone walls in a cosy, atmospheric room (Stephen) up ancient stone stairs.
The description could be clearer concerning snacks provided which implied they were breakfast! But good breakfast cafes nearby.

The location and feel of the neighborhood was just perfect. My room was very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning and everything in the room worked well. Loved the interior stone walls and high ceilings, making the room feel even more spacious. Nice touch providing packaged biscuits, bottled orange juice and water, and coffee or tea in room for self-serve breakfast. Margot was very helpful and easy to reach and communicate with.
There was nothing not to love, except perhaps climbing up and down the stairs with luggage, but I knew there was no elevator when booking.

Great location and Margo gave us a great welcome. The owners also run a superb bistro right across the street from the rooms. Our room was very quiet. Fridge and coffee maker in room were most appreciated. Very good shower. Very clean accommodation.
Could have used a comfortable chair in our room. The new larger rooms may address that problem.

Close to embarkation for wine cruise on Dorgone. Great food, wine and shops an easy walk from our room.

Perfect location in the best neighbourhood! Beautiful rooms in a historic building (even though a bit disfigured by the added bathroom). The small breakfast was appreciated and the owner full of care.
Only tiny details: Communication beforehand took some extra effort (and roaming charges) since a confirmation of received check-in information was required. The bathroom layout could have been a bit better.

The location was very great. It was only 10 minutes walking to get to the center of the town. The rooms were very stylish and comfortable - not to mention that the staff was so kind. We had an excellent experience.
Everything was great! I don't have any complaints. :)

A very special decor that made it feel classy and well thought out. Beautiful old building, very well kept. Lovely location in the midst of Chartrons. Easy access and felt very safe.
Nothing. It was superb.

the small pillows weren’t the most comfortable but I’d still stay there again in a heartbeat

Absolutely beautiful spacious rooms. Lovely and interesting design. Great light. Fabulous location with wonderful local shops and restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Margot was super helpful and very friendly!
It wasn’t a problem for us but the listing didn’t make it clear that the rooms were in three separate (but very close) buildings. The other thing to be aware if you aren’t a couple or close friends, is that most of the bathrooms weren’t fully enclosed. Again, not a problem for us but can imagine some friends might find it to be an issue.

The space, location and decor of a special suite called Kergomard. The suite was well appointed and really unique decor. Situated in Chartrons District right opposite the eglise saint-louis in Rue Notre Dame.
Nothing, everything was really special.

the location was good
the toilet doesn’t have a sink it in. it’s not very practical if someone is having a shower that you can’t wash your hands

absolutely loved the Keongard apartment- always wanted to stay in one of the old buildings- had 3 windows directly opposite the church. decor inside was amazing - felt like we were in an apartment in a Netflix series!
no oven but didn’t need it. and couldn’t fine a tea towel.

Room is big and staff is helpful. Good bakery right underneath the room, nice aroma of coffee and pastry.
The bed is a little unstable and makes noises each time you get on or off the bed.

The room exceeded our expectations, the room was beautiful and spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. Contactless check-in was a breeze, and the staff who helped us check-out were super friendly. The location was perfect, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We had a wonderful stay!
It's on a very small street and there was a car blocking the road so we had to walk a few blocks. This was fine for us but may be harder for others who are less mobile, though I'm sure this is not something that happens regularly.

Loved the location of this Hotel. The staff was so helpful we were able to leave our bags before check in and after checking out which helped so much.

Aside from the location being absolute perfection, the room itself was beautifully designed and hands down one of, if not, the best room I have ever stayed in (Sanchez Room). The attention to detail regarding the layout was lovely. Everything just made sense. The vintage pieces were so stunning as well. The room sat above a wonderful little bakery which was a favourite amongst the locals and very quickly us as well. The rooms are part of Chez Dupont Restuarant, which unfortunately we did not plan and make reservations for but looked incredible. A lot of love went into this space and it made me so sad to leave. If I ever get lucky enough to come back to Bordeaux I will 1000% be booking this room again.
The only note I would have is that the room itself did not come with an iron, which I’m sure they actually would have made available if we asked.

The rooms are so nicely designed and comfortable at the same time. Super clean and literally nothing was missing. Located perfectly in the center of Bordeaux, with restaurants nearby. Rooms are very clean and you have air conditioning if it's very hot outside. I highly recommend this place!
There is no elevator, but at the same time there were only two floors.

Margot was a wonderful host. The B&B is located on a quiet street outside of the city center in Bordeaux, but in a perfect area that anyone will love. Great restaurants and shops in this area as well.
I can't think of anything. The hotel is perfect. The restaurant below is a bit expensive, but it was wonderful for lunch. You should rent bikes because the city center is a bit of a walk away. You can also ride the tram.

Une Chambre Chez Dupont is in a great location. Near many wonderful restaurants and a short distance from the tram. The room I had was as spacious as an apartment. Staff was very attentive and responsive to any questions that I had. I highly recommend this property.

A charming old house in a fantastic location. The room was lovely and very well put together. The bed was large and comfortable; great shower and gorgeous stone washbasins! The bakery downstairs in the same building is excellent.
Our room was on the top (3rd) floor and there were 63 stairs to climb up a narrow and twisting stone staircase. Great exercise but very difficult with luggage.
The room would benefit from the addition of a coffee table

the place and the area were so nice. we didn’t do much research on Bordeaux in advance so were really happy with the location. It was a unique property in that it was more of a self contained unit rather than a guest house but it was perfect. I would definitely go back.
there was much I didn’t like. I was a bit confused upon arrival as the house is located down the road from the restaurant and other accommodation

Large, well appointed and decorated room in a great location.
