The room was small, but the price was appropriate for the size. We enjoyed the stay and everything worked and the bed was very comfortable. Very cool to stay in this unique place!
It was nearly impossible to find a place to eat in the morning and evening, even during the hours and restaurants that they advertise that the restaurants are open. This aspect needs a lot of work and we were happy that we were only staying one night.

Unique setting on the island, with gorgeous views on Mont Saint-Michel Bay. Room 212 has a good sized bathroom with shower and toilet room. We also had room 214. Your neighbors are seagulls, so you should enjoy hearing their calls before booking these rooms😉
A few niggling things, the lights didn’t work in room 214’s bathroom and was not addressed despite being reported. The towel drying rack did not function in room 214 but the breeze was more than adequate to dry the towels overnight.

It is situated in Mount Saint Michel which helps explore late evening/early morning without the crowds. Our room also happened to have a view to the monastery which was nice. Staff was very friendly.
It’s tiny, with odd corners (specially bathroom/ shower), the place smells it’s age too. Bed is firm (although I know many like that).

Fantastic location, friendly and helpful staff.
Rooms are tired (but were clean)
1.0
honestly nothing
•the photos look nothing like the actual rooms
•the walls and door are paper thin so when people are talking outside it’s like they are right next to you in the room
•I would say the location was good but we had a helicopter flying over carrying wood for the building site and the noise practically shook the room
•the walls were very dirty
•there was no hot water in the sink
•very very overpriced for the “quality” of the room
•staff were honestly borderline rude and walked around like they had the worst job in the world
•100% don’t pay the ridiculous price for the breakfast it absolutely isn’t worth it

Tiny room Cold, no heating at all

windows did not shoot water came into the room when raining

Very hard to find something positive about the hotel
Short explanations and rough guidance from staff, Less customer-centered services, Super slow wifi, Poor amenities, Inconvenient accessibility, Much smaller room space than expected, etc. All in all, this property wasn’t worth its price.

great location, clean, good value for money
room was located in another building
8.0
the location in the heart of Mont Saint Michel, the views from the windows.
the reception and the rooms are separated far from each other and that should be notified in advance, it is not a show stopper but a nice to have.

The room was very comfortable. It was in a building tucked away just a few steps off the main street. We checked in with a concierge in a building across the street, and she walked us up to our rooms in person.
The breakfast was a little expensive, so we just bought a croissant and coffee in the restaurant instead. Otherwise, we'd stay there again for sure.

we were very happy to be able to stay on the mount, so that was the biggest plus! the room we got was in a little building near the entrance to the mount and the windows were in a little side street which blocked much of the noise. the room was comfortable and clean. the staff was very helpful and exceptionally nice! check in and check out was smooth. Bag storage possible past check out.
it's very simple for the price, you do just pay for location, which is fine. We didn't eat in for breakfast or anything because the prices were very high.

location
less stairs than anticipated
noise! room had great view but located adjacent to the ramparts. tourists streaming by till very late.
no air conditioning so windows mud remain open.
staring at 5am garbage collection , delivery people and construction workers all with metal metal carts extremely noisily going about work on cobblestone street!!! terrible!

The rooms we had were relatively close to check in and I appreciated that greatly. Also, reception walked us to our rooms - a must and should continue. Prices for breakfast are exorbitant- at 20 euros a person that’s 80 euros for a family of four for breakfast.
Rooms need to be updated - decor is decades old. However, it is clean. No AC, WiFi very slow.

Rooms 207 & 208 could possibly do with updating compared to other rooms within the building but overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Great location.
The staff in both the La Vieille and Auberge Pierre were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Visiting Mont St Michel is maybe a one off as we explored just about every inch of the island but if we were to return again, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the La Vieille Auberge. If you can get hold of room 212, go for it!
The only negative (and it is the only negative) was that the shower in room 207 was low in water pressure. I mentioned it to the hotel when we checked out and they said they would have it looked at straight away. Can’t ask for anything more really.

Got a sea view room and had a fantastic view of high tide at the comfort from our balcony.
Looking for a flask to boil some warm water as weather was quite chill but hotel did not provide.

It was an amazing experience to stay on Mont Saint Michele! It's the only way to have the real experience and the room we had was perfect for that. It's not 5 star but who needs that anyway when you're there for the atmosphere. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. We had a great view on to the old rooftops and could see the ocean through the buildings. The location is amazing and we would definitely stay here again if we went back!
The only downside was the noise in the morning but that was no fault of the hotel. From around 5am we could hear another business unloading crates or barrels and it didn't stop for hours. But like I said it's no fault of the hotel and it wouldn't deter me from staying there again because the atmosphere of staying on the island was well worth it

Well, I give good ratings because it met expectations for being on Mont Saint Michel. It was a small basic clean comfortable room
internet was a little spotty--again expected with the rooms, walls and location

Staying on the island was great. The views from the room were very cool and it was so nice to be able to walk the quiet pathways of Mont Saint Michel at night.
Check-in was a bit confusing, with the La Vielle Auberge restaurant and offices closed (for the season?) and no sign saying that you had to go to a different hotel/restaurant for check-in. The process of getting to a shuttle to go to the island is a bit complicated and could maybe have been explained better... especially on the Booking.com side of things (you need to park in P3, with a code from the hotel, and then walk a bit to the shuttle stop). Not their fault, but still odd and annoying that the shuttle bus drops off and picks up in the middle of the bridge, and you then need to carry luggage quite some distance between the gate and bus stop (in the rain, in our case).
