Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Kandy eine geeignete Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft hat eine sehr schöne Dachterrasse mit einem super schönen Ausblick. Das Personal war größtenteils sehr freundlich :)

Leider ist die Unterkunft etwas in die Jahre gekommen.. in unserem Zimmer hat der Wasserhahn nicht funktioniert, worauf wir nicht hingewiesen wurden. Generell war das Bad nicht so sauber, wie wir es uns gewünscht hätten. Für den Preis allerdings trotzdem eine super Unterkunft.

Hilltop stay close by Kandy

Very nice stay located on the hilltop right next to Kandy. It’s a little difficult to reach if you’re backpacking, however a TukTuk via Pick me or Uber will do. Big living room, kitchen with tea and water available. The room is warm but with the fan on it’s doable. One night I didn’t have much water to shower, second night it was alright. The driver from the location is pricey.

L’avantage d’être sur les hauteurs de la ville de Kandy. Notre hôte nous a accueillis avec bienveillance et sympathie, nous avons même pu garer notre tuk tuk de location dans sa cour. Merci pour le séjour !

Ce sont des routes de montagnes alors attention à ne pas conduire la nuit. Et le petit déjeuner un peu chère comparé à d’autres logement chez l’habitant où nous sommes allé !

Over all it was nice.

The guest house had a nice style and the view was stunning.

The bathroom had an awful smell to it, probably from the drain. The fan was quite loud, we couldn’t leave it on over night. Breakfast was nothing special.

My stay here although short, it was very pleasant. Mrs Chintha is a lovely host who helped make my stay more enjoyable. The room was very clean and the views from the place were really beautiful and away from the noise of the city centre. Highly recommended!!

Such a stunning view in a very peaceful and beautiful area close to the city. The owner and her son are so sweet and accommodating. We left a our licenses there and they offered to courier it to us to our next destination.

There were some slight discomforts, such as a shower with very poor shower pressure and because our room looked over the shared balcony it could be awkward when others where out there. But for the price, no real complaints

To make you feel safe and appreciated

Stay in Holiday Stay Inn was one of my best experiences of years of travelling and living throughout different parts of Asia. Chinta is a very intelligent, warm hearted and delicate woman, who created home for all who are seeking for it. Her house is not simple homey, but walking into it, you feel that you walked into a real, clean, thoughtfully organised home, that is designed to make you happy. Big gratitude for all, I am looking forward to be back soon!

Awesome hosts who made my stay perfect!

The hosts were so super gentle and supportive. Besides a nice room and an individual breakfast for my needs, they also arranged drivers for me and could help with all my questions. Thank you so much, would definitely recommend!

Really good place to stay

The lady that owns the place was so nice. Even though we left to early for breakfast, she gave us breakfast to go. The room was big and the view was amazing.

Save habour in busy Kandy

Very friendly and good place in the hills above Kandy. it’s very clean and has everything you need. The owner and her son are very caring and helpful. Tuktuks were arranged for me, to avoid scam (which is unfortunately very usual in Kandy). Definitely recommended!

The location was on the hill so I could overlook The Kandy city from the balcony. It was amazing view in daytime and night time as well. They also provide a free pick-up from the Kandy city to there. It was no difficulties to get there. Hotel is very clean and nice atmosphere. There were cute dogs and a cat welcome you. I felt so peaceful. They are always kind and help me a lot. I was traveling by myself and came to Kandy with no plan. So I took a Tuktuk tour they recommend which was reasonable price. The driver Pradeep was nice guy who took me anywhere I want. He flexibly arrange my tour. Especially the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage was very nice place. It takes one hour and half from Kandy but it’s worth going. He took me there at a good timing to see elephants bath time at a river. I highly recommend to stay there. I definitely come back if I come to Kandy again!

The best thing in Kandy, the stay made me never want to leave, the view is AMAZING . Serenity and beauty everywhere. a bit far from center and uphill, but that was perfect for an Isolated experience far from the hustle of the city. Owners were super nice to us, they made us breakfast takeaway the day we’re leaving and helped us a lot. Very Very good value of money.

Amazing quiet place with an great view on Kandy and the mountains. The room was comfortable with big beds, the Internet was fast. The kitchen was well stocket we could make the the and the coffee any time. The host helped us to buy tickets on the train to Ella (there was no more tickets on the train station). Living the hotel early morning we received hot breakfast wich we bring with us to the train. We loved our time in this hotel and would highly recommend it.

The place is very relaxing. The hosts were amazing and took care of us well. It was our first night in Srilanka. The hosts helped us to plan our 1 week tour more effectively. We are so glad we spend the first night there. They provided us many travel tips. Planning to visit this place again before leaving.

Very supportive and kind hosts. We booked the studio apartment on ground floor. It also has tiny kitchen. Delicious traditional breakfast. Also we asked for dinner and it was great too. For two of us the charge was $ 12. The host arranged transport to pick us from the train station. So we got to the place directly without any problem. The tuktuk fare was around $ 1.5 and with the same driver next day we went on a city tour. The driver was very friendly and flexible.

It has a beautiful view over Kandy and the owner helped us a lot with arranging tuk tuks.

It is really hard to get to, impossible to get around without hiring a tuk tuk driver. The bathroom wasn’t that nice.
